cdavis411 Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 Hello, Just as the subject indicates, when a scheduled cron job occurs a new black/empty file named cron.php is being created in the home directory. This did not occur until switching from a reseller account on HostGator to a VPS account on KnownHost. So over a few days the cron.php files in the home directory list like this: cron.php cron.php.1 cron.php.2 cron.php.3 cron.php.4 and so on... Any idea how to resolve this issue is appreciated. Kian Posted January 11, 2015 Share Posted January 11, 2015 Then it's normal. These files contain the output. If your cron doesn't generate any output files will always be empty.
