problem in attachments after upgrading to 5.2.13

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Can you update this thread with the bug details we recommend in our Bug Reporting Guideline:

http://forums.whmcs.com/showthread.php?75142-Bug-Reporting-Guidelines

Specifically I am interested in the exact steps you are attempting to use to upload the file and the specific name of the file so we can investigate this further.

Tried to attach a file to support ticket. This is error:

Invalid upload filename. Valid filenames contain only alpha-numeric, dot, hyphen and underscore characters.

This is the file name: tahsisformu.pdf

This is URGENT and must be fixed ASAP.

As some others have mentioned here already, please ensure that you don't have the "escapeshellcmd" function disabled in your PHP configuration. If you do, that is the most likely cause for seeing this error message with seemingly valid filenames. If you can re-enable it that should resolve it for you.

We will also be looking into if we can use an alternative function to avoid this requirement in a future update.

Matt
