Couldn't resolve host

When I try to "Import Domains from cPanel/WHM," I get the following error:

Couldn't resolve host '' (Code 6) - Check IP/Blocked Firewall Ports

I have about 96 domains (accounts) set up in my WHM.

Also, (possibly related), the WHMCS doesn't actually create any new accounts in my WHM.

Not sure what is going wrong. But these seem like they may be related issues.

I'm demoing the WHMCS right now, but if it really works, I'll happily buy the unlimited, unbranded license.

Oooops. Didn't mean to solicit for help from outside the forum.

I guess I was asking if I purchase the "Installation & Configuration" install package from WHMCS, if they'll be able to get my install working correctly?

Chances are a firewall at one or both ends is causing this. If you have the ability, add the IP for the connecting server to the ignore list on the one you're trying to import from, and make sure the correct ports are allowed in that firewall as well (2086/2087). If the firewall changes don't help, check your resolver settings on the connecting server to make sure they are operating properly.

To answer your question about the configuration service, I believe they make sure it's connecting and operating, but you should ask to be sure.
