V3.0 BETA Released

I am pleased to announce the release of WHMCS, Version 3 BETA Release 1.

 

The download is now available to all existing clients from the client area.

 

Some highlights of the new features are:

  • Tax Support
  • PDF Invoices
  • Plesk Support
  • VariLogix FraudCall Fraud Module
  • PayPal Subscription Resignup Link in Client Area
  • Modular Reports System - Can now create and share your own reports
  • Added new "Invoice Balance" allowing for partial payments to invoices eg. a deposit on web design work (16/12/2006)
    Improved Promotions/Coupons - now can offer promotions for Addons & Domains too
  • More Functionality to Modular Server System - cPanel Change Password, Upgrade/Downgrade Account, DirectAdmin Reseller Account Creation, Login buttons in Client Area
  • JavaScript popup confirmation dialog prompts for server actions
  • Remember Me Option on Admin Area - stay logged in even when you next switch on your PC
  • TLD Price List added to Domain Availability Checker Page
  • Affiliates System Extended Functionality - ability to set commission rate per affiliate, withdrawal request option in client area, ability to set individual payout amount for certain products which overides default percentage, email affiliates option, fixed bugs with previous version such as always Pending status
  • Ticket Looping Prevention
  • Sort Functionality on Table Columns
  • Coupon maximum uses limit
  • Option to allow only registered customers to submit support tickets
  • Disable capatcha images on Domain Availability Checker & Contact Form
  • Login as client option for admins

Since this is a public beta, I appreciate all feedback regarding issues with the current Beta release.

 

Note: All issues regarding the BETA should be posted in our V3 Bug Reports Forum, not our helpdesk.

 

As it is a BETA release, I don't recommend using this in a production environment where you rely on your WHMCS system as quick fix releases cannot be made.
