One Upcoming Domain Renewal Notice for every single domain

My system is sending to the customers multiple "Upcoming Domain Renewal Notice", one for every single different domain (instead of a single notice with all the domains with same expiration)

So, a customer who has 100 domains expiring in 30 days, get 100 different messages (one for every single domain)

it would be nice to send a single, consolidated notice...

Is any set about it hidden somewhere?

But... email template seems to be done yet in order to be a single message for a number of different domains:

Q: If a client has multiple domain names which are due on the same date then the upcoming domain renewal email should combine them according to the new version 5.3.2

A: This should have been fixed in the 5.3.3 release (5.3.2 was a beta).

this might have been back in the day when these emails were hard-coded to be sent on the 11th of the month... perhaps the feature got tweaked when ICANN brought in their new domain reminder rules... off the top of my head, I can't remember when WHMCS stopped combining the domains in the same email.

Removing this funcionality was a mistake, and there's no relation with ICANN regulations.

ICANN regulation requires that renewal notice have to be sent to REGISTRANT directly by the REGISTRAR.

While the WHMCS's system send renewal notice to the CUSTOMER, and not to Registrant (even if it may happen that Registrant and customer are the same).

So:

- if WHMCS is managed by a Registrar, he need other systems to accomplish ICANN's regulations

- if WHMCS is managed by a Reseller, his Registrar will have other system to accomplish ICANN's regulations

Registered Name Holder Notifications

Where a registrar module supports it, WHMCS will also send a copy of the renewal notices to the registered name holder as defined in the WHOIS Record for a given domain.

i'm not aware if they ever expanded this feature beyond eNom.

Was there any update on this... I have a customer that was sent 33 emails today.... not happy !

I think the katamaze billing plugin can solve this problem
