WHMCS behind a Google load balancer: Login not working

Hello Members,

We are trying to setup WHMCS on a load balancer/multiple servers. All instances are sharing a common MySQL (Google Cloud SQL HA).

The load balancer is Google Layer 7 HTTP LB. When we test the instances directly, everything works with common MySQL server. However, when we add the instances to the Load Balancer and we are no longer able to login to WHMCS admin/client area. Of course, there is no error on logs.

The LB is configured with Session affinity based on the cookie. I tried client IP based too. Still not working.

Then I installed Memcached on both servers, configured php.ini to save the session to Memcache. But the problem remains same.

WHMCS license part is taken care of.

Can anyone who use a similar setup assist me. Do I have to configure something with WHMCS conf?. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Thomas
