WHMCS and Plesk Onyx automation

Greetings,

we are facing last days pretty annoying issue with Plesk Onyx and WHMCS.

Everything was okay, before. Maybe something happened after new WHMCS version?

So, let's get started. In product settings for shared hosting plans, we have enabled "Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received".

It was working totally fine since we started using Plesk Onyx and WHMCS.

What happens now? Every time then the client is trying to buy shared hosting product Plesk creates automatically account even if payment status is incomplete. No matter what status you have, it's going to create an account and later WHMCS is going to give module action issues because domain exists already.

What happens next?

- You have to accept order manually

- Client does not receive mail with product information

- You have to resend mail manually

- You get bunch of empty accounts

Questions. Where do we need to create a ticket for this issue? Plesk or WHMCS?

Thanks.

i'd cover both bases and say open a ticket with both!

between this working fine, and it starting to fail, did you do a WHMCS update??

I don't think so, since we updated everything was okay.

Got respond from Plesk support team:

Thank you for contacting Plesk Technical support.

I understood that you are facing issue with whmcs auto order.

Plesk dose not know anything about payment or order. When Plesk receive API request from WHMCS, then only it execute its functionality (create subscription).

In this case I request you to contact with WHMCS support..

  • 3 weeks later...

Still no resolution for our issue. It's been over 3 weeks.

We opened ticket since it was WHMCS issue and started to explain our situation.

- At first, they could not recreate this issue

- The second time they got the same issue and moved to level 2 support

- Then again they can't recreate this issue

- Finally, they see an issue, asked to do graceful restart for Plesk. Did not help us.

- Then support team changes http to https and we start getting infinity loops with 20 minutes down time.

- No, apologize about that

- Then support team tells to turn off Nginix and try Apache. Now they tell issue is with Nginix configuration

- We try to switch off nginix and try apache. Everything gets broken. Again downtime. Have to rollback everything.

It's been 3 weeks. Yes, we had to accept every order manually.

+ Stripe issue is not yet resolved.
