Welcome to the first edition of the WHMCS Community Wrapup for 2017. Each month we take a look at the WHMCS Community Forums sharing statistics and highlights.

 

Our community wrapup is consistently evolving and we welcome your feedback either by replying below or opening a thread in the Forum Assistance board.

 

January 2017 Community Statistics:

 

  • 308 new members joined our community
  • 403 new threads where created and our dedicated community crafted 1,617 replies.
  • The busiest day for the community was January 9th where 100 replies for added and 26 new threads created.

January's top picks:

 

  • Register Currency
    Nyan had a question about setting up currencies at the time of registration setting a client to using USD pricing instead of JPY there where some great responses around achieving this using hooks and customisations.
  • Blank pages after upgrading to WHMCS v7
    jpmaster had issues after upgrading to WHMCS version 7 and was getting blank pages, in this instance it turned out that the wrong version of ionCube Loaders was on their server.
  • gMail and GoogleMail Questions
    Gazza had a client that has both a gmail and GoogleMail address, the email where linked however when sending from the googlemail.com address these where being blocked. Gazza's issue was solved by adding a Sub-Contact.
  • What's the best way to move my WHMCS System to a new subfolder?
    Masterolive enquired about the best way to migrate their WHMCS installation over to a new subdirectory, users provide guidance on moving, updating paths and re-issuing the license
  • Has anyone else received payments from a non-existent domain via paypal
    There was a general discussion from durangod around receiving PayPal payments from a non existant domain
