Upcoming Domain Renewal Notice

If a client from the client area disable the domain auto renew (thus the "Disable Auto Renew" option is checked in the admin area it means that the client don't want the invoice at the expiration, so it means he wants the domain to expire.

If you want it to expire you don't want to receive any reminder.

I noticed that whmcs sends reminders as setup in the automation settings even if the client disable the auto renew. Any idea on how to avoid this without coding a custom hook?

Domain Renewal Notices are configured by default to meet the minimum requirements set out by ICANN for Expiration Reminder Notices by a domain registrar.

even if you could block WHMCS from sending them, chances are that your registrar would send their own to the registrant anyway.

I don't think they'd be a way to do it without using a hook.
