  1. Hi, I apologise if this has been posted elsewhere, I've tried searching for a recent discussion regarding the new policies ICANN are implementing that will affect every gTLD distributed by ICANN. I'll use OpenSRS (Tucows) as an example here - see: https://opensrs.com/new-transfer-policy-qa/ With every modification to the registrant first name, last name, contact email or organization name a change of registrant is performed which means that both the old registrant and the new registrant need to approve the change in order for the details to successfully be updated. An automatic lock of 60 days will be applied to the domain name once the change of registrant is completed unless opted-out. I can't seem to find any discussion or release logs relative to WHMCS updating their domains WHMCS modules to reflect the above changes. From my understanding this is going to break the way WHMCS updates the contact information on a domain name (they simply wont update correctly until both the new and old registrant approve the changes to the registrant information). WHMCS will also not display the status of a 'Change of Registrant' - eg. whether it's in process etc. Luckily we've custom coded our own module so we'll simply make the modifications required, however the default modules supplied by WHMCS are yet to be changed.
  2. Hi WHMCS, This isn't a bug, but the functionality to apply a payment of $0.00 to an invoice isn't allowed since we've updated from WHMCS 5 -> 6. In some instances users will order a service and we may simply want to supply it to them free of charge, we may then mark the amount as $0.00 and apply the payment of $0.00 to the invoice to process the order and complete it. Setting the payment status as 'paid' doesn't do this. Since upgrading to WHMCS we now have too: 1. Set the amount to .01 2. Apply the payment. 3. Delete the transaction for .01 4. Set the amount back to .00. ..... Not happy Jan!
  3. I can see 6.1 has now been officially released, it seems like there's no incremental patch from 6.0 -> 6.1 Version 6.1 requires a full upgrade - am I missing something here and are these going to become more regular. It's hard enough as it is performing a full upgrade from version 5 to 6, you can't expect us to do this with every new release every few months
  4. Thanks Nate, I didn't realize it was RC1! I thought it had been officially released! Thank you kindly.
  5. Hi there, I was just going through the downloads section of the WHMCS site and couldn't find a patch set from WHMCS 6.0.2 to 6.1 Am I missing something?
  6. ^ Agreed, voted +1 hopefully more people get onto this. We manually check these each month (quite painful).
  7. Possibility to have the decoded version? happy to pay extra for it - we're not fond of encoded scripts as we don't know what's behind it.
  8. Hello, So we have stumbled across a problem with the latest update of WHMCS 5.3.6 where if a product (eg. hosting service) has an invoice generated for a monthly term of $10.00 and an upgrade is performed on that product to a different billing cycle (eg. annually for $100), the new invoice for the annual billing cycle isn't being generated. Prior to WHMCS 5.3.6 update the following occurred: 1. Upgrade a product with an already due invoice for $10/month to $100/annual plan. 2. WHMCS would cancel the old invoice for $10.00 per month, generate a new invoice for $0.00 for the upgrade request. 3. Another invoice would be automatically generated for $100.00/month on the annual billing cycle. After the WHMCS 5.3.6 update, step #3 in the above list isn't generating the new invoice. I have tested this in our live environment and a fresh install of 5.3.6 in our development environment. So: 1. Upgrade a product with an already due invoice for $10/month to $100/annual plan. 2. WHMCS would cancel the old invoice for $10.00 per month, generate a new invoice for $0.00 for the upgrade request. 3. No new invoice is generated for the annual plan on the new billing cycle.
  9. Hi Nate, I have been able to replicate the issue on a fresh 5.3.6 install by doing the following: You will need to "flag" yourself in one of those tickets that you have placed "On Hold". So when you filter the "On Hold" status it will display 2 tables, "Unassigned" and "Your Assigned", as per this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/6Zde0Dq.png In the screenshot above, if you select the select all check box under "Your Assigned", it will select all checkboxes under "Your Assigned" and "Unassigned" Where as if you select the check box under "Unassigned", it will not select anything. I hope the above allows you to now replicate this issue.
  10. Hi Nate C, Answer to your question: Filter: On Hold I have approximately 10 tickets on hold at the moment, to reproduce this issue it's quite simple: 1. Change the "Filter Tickets" to "On Hold" 2. That will display all the tickets "On Hold" 3. Select the "Select All" tick box. None of the tickets get checked...
  11. Hi WHMCS, Easy one to replicate, basically create a few tickets and place them in the "On Hold" queue. Select the "Select All" option. It won't select any of the check boxes, I am not sure if this is also happening with any other ticket statuses.

  13. ^ absolutely agreed, this is becoming quite a joke... You do realise that you are not only affecting the income of WHMCS, but you are affecting 1000's of hosting businesses out there that rely on your product. I am pretty sure every user that you survey asking "What should WHMCS do" would say that we would rather see WHMCS rewritten to be secure then include more features....
  14. Hello, Rather unusual bug, however we have a the WHMCS cron running at 11:00AM every day, over the last 4 weeks we have noticed that when a new order is placed simultaneous to when the WHMCS cron is running the cron will fail, it just stops as soon as a new order is placed. Anyone else experienced this?
