  1. It should send out the login details automatically after payment, do you have it set up correctly? E.g. "Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received" should be selected in the product configuration. And if you're using PayPal you need to set the IPN settings in your PayPal account as per: http://wiki.whmcs.com/PayPal
  2. I believe the "Only Replies Allowed by Email" problem is caused by the setting: "Pipe Replies Only" in the support department settings. As for the other problem, I'm not sure.
  3. If I remember correctly, it's something to do with PHP 5.3 and ioncube.... Create a folder called "support" in your modules folder of WHMCS.
  4. Just to let you know, you spelt "Submit" wrong on the home page. : )
  5. No one except me knows the password. I've spoken to Matt and he's certain it's not a problem with WHMCS. I hadn't yet followed the furthur security steps in the WIKI to secure the writeable dirs. It's most that likely someone got direct access to the database some other way. And what does me knowing anyone in London have to do with this?
  6. I use a variation of that password on forums yeah. Bad idea I know. And I'm using the latest version of WHMCS. I just had a reply from Matt, so I'm going to go and check the server logs to see exactly what was going on.
  7. That's true, but even if the password was slightly insecure, he got in straight away on the first attempt. I didn't get any emails about anyone logging in incorrectly and I even checked the apache logs. It couldn't have just been a lucky guess. He must have got it from somewhere.
  8. Now, first of all... I'm not sure if this is a problem with WHMCS or some other piece of software with a security hole, but I thought I should post here. Our WHMCS got hacked earlier today and the hacker sent out a to be honest, unacceptable email to all clients, I won't go into detail but lets just say it directly insulted them. Now apart from ruining our reputation and client relationships, I am now completely paranoid that it will happen again. I'd also like to know how it happened in the first place. The hacker signed up for a hosting account, and then sent the email. I have no idea how he/she did it, but when I look at the admin log in WHMCS, it shows the username "hacked" as logging in (see image). Just a warning to everyone out there. His IP address was 86.132.228.82.
  9. What sort of problems are you having? Do you get any errors displayed when creating accounts? We've managed to get it working fine with DNP.
  10. Ahh well, we are using DotNetPanel too. The WHMCS install seemed to work basically "out of the box" for us. Have you given the DotNetPanel user permission? I'm not quite sure what yours would be as I don't know the domain name but ours is "thehosthouseco_web" (for the domain thehosthouse.co.uk). If you haven't given that full permission try that. If you've already done that, I'd guess it was a problem with the way PHP was installed. If it's possible could I see a PHPInfo file? Either by posting it here, or PMing it to me if you want to keep it private. Regards, James
  11. Hey, Well I am running WHMCS on a Windows Server 2003 machine, MySQL 5.0.45 and IIS 6.0. So basically the same as you, except that I am running PHP 5.2.5 (ISAPI) and it works fine for me. Are you running a control panel on that server, such as DotNetPanel or anything like that? Did you install PHP using the Windows Installer, or by using the manual way? Regards, James
