  1. at the moment im just building it for my system, will probly look at beta etc depening on how indepth i make it.
  2. i probaly will later on after i have it running how i would like. I am adding features like Project Chat etc and View Projects.
  3. Hi, Im currently in the middle of the creation of my Project creation form WHMCS intergration. Client side is setup: I dont think many if any would be interested in this but well i thought id post. Currently posts to a database and is accessable in the admin area via a simular system to Support tickets. (or so goes the plan) Mike
  4. ah, i just had a quick look at the Database setup when i wrote that soz saw an ACtive and inactive enum in there and went that'll be it lol
  5. If the people as you say arent savy or dont want to be bothered with that side of things i would suggest bold icons and clear promotions. Also dont try to be too clever/confusing when naming things it puts some people off if they dont fully understand it. Give me a shout if you need any more advice or so.
  6. Use a SMS gateway and a cron job that checks the relivant dates. You can get some good and value email->sms gateways i used a few and found its best to look around. i will look back and find the ones i used to use.
  7. soz i just pasted part of the code from my old design use /whmcs/cart.php?a=add&domain=register instead of /client/cart.php?a=add&domain=register You can jig about with the tables if you have some HTML knowledge and move the form elements about.
  8. ermmm the sites not in flash well not the area with the white box. You could overlay a form onto it that would send the user to the WHMCS domain page. Something like a heavily CSS'ed EDIT: And yes you can you need to edit your header.tpl
  9. My main points are: - The time for overkill/flashy (not the program, the showing off) has gone, tho it may come back they are quite unpopular are can lead to a host of browser related issuse. - You want everyone to see the same thing and to enjoy it, whether they are using IE7 Firebird saffarii etc And whatever screen resoltion (i normal design for between 800x600 and 1024x768) as a rough guide. - What is the savy level of the people you are targeting, if you clients are well luddities etc you should have a clear, simple and almost no frills navigation, whereas if they can find the on switch to the PC you may want something a little more brazen. Which brings me to one of the biggest mistakes designers/non designers and all manner of random people make which is: - What is the actual core message you want you site to give, This should be clear and make people sit up and take notice, if you selling .com domains for 99p then make it a center point dont like you key focuses get detracted from by "eye candy" and stock photos. Sorry if that seems like crap or repeats what some of the others say but its how i work with design both for the online world and offline systems.
  10. I dont know about you but my Cron job for WHMCS runs very early in the morning. You could set the next date for tomorrow so your Cron sees it or you could manually send this one.
  11. Not so much a Template its a PHP file called phpconfig.php in the includes dir i suggest you are compitant in PHP before attempting an edit, if you need any help drop me an email or so and i will try to give you some suggestions. Mike
