  1. My client already has prestashop running since a few years, but now wants to change his url as the firm changed names (no alias). I already updated this in his Client Profile -> Domains Tab with success. But in his Client Profile -> Products/Services tab the old url still shows What is the best practice to change url, keeping his existing DirectAdmin profile synced ?
  2. One of my clients needs additional bandwidth (extra megabytes datatraffic) for only 1 month a year. For now I advised her to upgrade the hostingplan to a next level for one month, and downgrade after. Would it be possible for a client to buy additional bandwidth for one month as an addon instead of upgrading/downgrading plans? I'm using WHMCS with DirectAdmin. How can I accomplish this ?
  3. Yesterday I performed an upgrade for a client (from Silver to Gold product), but the procedure didn't really do the upgrade (I'm on WHMCS 7.2.1 with DirectAdmin) - Logged in as admin - Went to client panel and logged in as client - Performed upgrade as client - Pending upgrade was reported in the admin system, wich I confirmed - Order Confirmation mail was sent out - Invoice was made, but apparently NOT sent to customer (I'm not 100% about this) BUT ... - Product did not change in WHMCS (stayed Silver) - Product did not change in DirectAdmin (stayed Silver) SO ... I tried to redo the upgrade, but this time as admin (by pressing the upgrade product button in the admin panel) But I get the notification "Upgrade Already In Progress Cannot Upgrade/Downgrade because the product already has an Upgrade/Downgrade in progress." Cron did run (every 5 minutes), and daily cron ran also (at midnight), but no changes to the client product. Help ?
  4. Thanks brian! That the info I needed. So I guess I need to tick the box "credit on downgrade" to get this working.
  5. A client of mine wants to upgrade, but only for a few months, and then back again. But I see this option in General Settings -> Other : Credit On Downgrade Tick this box to provide a prorata refund to clients when downgrading for unused time Even though it explains what it does, I don't understand completely. Does the "refund" mean the refund will be virtual, and will be refunded as a credit to be used for later payments ? Or does it mean the system expects me to refund the money back to my clients bank in real ? I do would like to have my client to pay upfront for the upgrade for the rest of the annual subscription, but when he downgrades again, the money should keep stored as credits for his later use.
  6. Is there a possibility to integrate my hosting products list (wich now resides at cart.php) in my frontpage ?
  7. Dear Brian, I was aware of that, that's why I asked, but indeed ... I wasn't clear I already installed 7.2RC. I guess we still might need their plugin to have the spam-option enabled/disabled in DirectAdmin via WHMCS, as WHMCS itself does not configure the mailboxes within DirectAdmin. The other questions remain though ... is the cost for the whole server, or per account basis, and can it be enabled/disables per account
  8. Hi, As some om my customers complain about the amount of spam, I'm thinking about registering with Spamexperts. I'm using DirectAdmin as CP. A few questions : - I guess I need to install the Spamexperts Directadmin plugin also ? - Is the pricing per domain or for the whole server with all its domains ? - Can I enable/disable the filtering on a per domain basis ? (I guess some customers would like to pay a small fee for this feature, as some won't) Kind regards. - - - Updated - - - Addendum : I know one (but only one) of my customers would be interested in Email Archiving. That's why it's important for me to know if I can enable this feature for his domain only, or will all users automaticly benefit from this. As he would be paying a small monthly fee for archiving, while others might not.
  9. Hi all, I'm trying to make a custom frontpage, using dreamweaver. There are a lot of css classes though with strange namings, so is there a guide on what classes or id's can be used for a certain purpose (like titles, columns, buttons, ...) ? I'm using the default six template as starters.
  10. As I want to automate domain registrations, I found dotdns rather attractive as they have the best price for belgian .be domains. I tried to contact them via their online form ... no response I tried to contact them via telephone ... no response (the phone numbers on their website don't even exist!!!) It seems they don't answer anyone (they get 1/5 on facebook), so this looks a rather dubious firm to have your domains registered at. Rather strange though that whmcs still offers their api in verion 7.0. Any positive experiences with this firm ? Now looking for an alternative for .be domains.
  11. Is it possible to send an automated warning-email to inform a customer when his diskspace quota is close to its limits ? Let say a customer bought 500MB of diskspace, and it reaches 480MB. We allow overuse, but it will be charged. So it would be nice to inform the customer that limit is almost reached, so he needs to free up some space, or overcharge will occur. Thanks for all support
  12. Hi All, I'm new to WHMCS (bought my lifetime licence last week) and everything has been set up. It's a great product to work with! One thing I can't get solved though : I was looking trough the different kinds of Order Form Templates. Now (whatever form I choose) ... it stays stuck at the slider (even when another kind of form is selected. I tried emptying the templates_c directory, empty template cache via controlepanel, ... but nothing seems to solve the problem. It keeps showing the slider. Is this a bug ??? Is there a workaround ??? Am I doing something wrong ??? - - - Updated - - - Oh my ... after posting this issue I found the sollution : The product-group itself can also have a specific Order Form Template !!! Anyhow ... I hope this small thread can help others
