  1. The last update for this was almost 3 years ago. I think it's time for an update. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.whmcs.mobile.android&hl=en_US&gl=US
  2. I see Stripe can accept Cashapp payments, does anyone know anything about this and if it can work with WHMCS? https://stripe.com/docs/payments/cash-app-pay With CashApps Linked Accounts & Businesses API subscriptions work just like a debit card except it doesn't matter if the customer has his/her card locked or not, as long as the balance is +
  3. Very few of the mods I use are ready for php 8.1 X and you literally have to fight with the developers to update. After a week I had to revert back to php 7.3. so WHMCS 8.X is pushed back at least a year.
  4. Yes same problem after a couple days of non-support form the WHMCS support department 😞 Has nothing to do with a custom template, nothing to do with Stripe, a guest should not be able to submit payment period. My "guests" made 8,000 + charge attempts in one week all with different emails and the Apache log matches the ip addresses and times in the Stripe log exactly
  5. Bigol'tastynuggets you're right -- exact same problem they knew about. The screenshot of the uncaptured payment in Stripe looks just like mine . Funny my problem started the same day of the price increase !
  6. They tried, but main reason for post was to see if anyone noticed any problems. If not then may be a issue on our end. Slow whmcs response was what caught our attention.
  7. Yes, the Stripe mod that comes with WHMCS, -- When the server started to not respond, I went though it was cache related at first so I went to systemcleanup.php and cleared all the logs, I had no idea it was Stripe at this point. Then I looked at the Apache log (see attached below) and matched the IP address / timestamps with the ones the stripe log.
  8. #1 I did open a ticket about this, thanks for the help but no solution has been made, our Stripe mod is offline still After the upgrade last week, I noticed slow response from WHMCS which is installed on a server running WHM/cPanel and has about 20 other sites that all ran normal, even the main website WHMCS is on ran fine, only the WHMCS folder and anything in it was slow response and started coming up as a gateway error. Checked the Apache logs and noticed there were 300 requests and most all were for POST /index.php ?rp=/stripe/payment/indent HTTP/1.1 Checked Stripe.com dashboard and there were thousands of attempted charges , each minute new were coming in. (see attached) - has been going on for several hours at this point No clients are being created, Google captcha has been enabled for years, there is a option in WHMCS settings to prevent clients from ordering without creating an account settings/other - UNCHECKED (Tick this box to allow registration without ordering any products/services) - Notice in the screenshot the hacker is using different email addresses, none are anywhere in WHMCS As soon as I figured out the new Stripe mod in WHMCS was causing this I changed the file module/gateway/Stripe to module/gateway/Stripe_1 the problem immediately stopped and hasn't happened since. I change it back to allow for cron run each day for a few minutes but something is wrong so have to keep it offline for now till solution is found That Stripe mod caused this, there were over 8,000 attempts in 1 week alone, I sent all this to WHMCS and they still claim it's not their fault. Have had that Stripe mod for 10+ years with no issues, then just after the update where WHMCS made several changes to the Stripe mod (all noted in their update log -- so some hacker must have spotted a hole and took advantage of it) Didn't loose any money or anything , all the IP addresses came back to Russia. Stripe did send me a email but again none of the charges actually went through and Stripe does have security, they are the ones that blocked it. WHMCS says that since the CC charge didn't complete then by design, no order or customer is created in WHMCS. Is this WHMCS responsibility or do we have to set up a firewall as suggested? Is anyone else noticing anything?
  9. I think our friends at WHMCS are just wearing their masks too tight, you know the brain needs oxygen right? It kinda looks like your taxing the bigger providers at a huge rate to help the smaller? They'll definitely need to raise prices it went from penny's each month to thousands, literally.
  10. Getting Strip errors too, first time for that started when I upgraded to 8.2 The failing webhook endpoint is /modules/gateways/callback/stripe_sepa.php.
  11. This is too secure, if the client claims they are not getting the reset emails, there is no way for the admin to change it. There is no log of the password reset, at least not with a link to the email, the only option I can see if to have the client create a new 2nd account and then add that to the clients. Am I missing something?
  12. How can I search and find all clients on certain server?
  13. A few months ago I got a SSL order through Marketplace, I had to open a chat and go through a few emails, it was anything but automated so I set the SSL package to hidden in WHMCS, but somehow a client was able to find a link to order, install failed, web hosting is on the same server, the only option I have is the Attempt auto config button but of course I get a error Certificate not yet issued. Please try again later. so now I'm in GeoTrust chat again, opened a ticket with WHMCS but no response yet, customer still waiting and so far the Geo Trust chat agent can't find any history. So what should I do? Status DescriptionPolling for file-based authentication. Check and ensure the necessary file is present and accessible.
  14. Yes thanks Brian you were correct, under includes/hooks and includes/api, seems to have worked thanks!
