  1. ok - might well be enom's end. This particular newTLD is the only customer we have with this type of domain, and I cannot add the domains to my cart even logged into enom.com.
  2. This is a bit troubling - we upgraded to 7.11 and the first set of renewals we have for domains failed with: CustomerSuppliedPrice is invalid or missing This happened at auto-renew on invoice payment, and using the 'Renew Domain' in our admin back-end. How do we fix this?
  3. asking for improvements to the dashboard is sadistic? tsk. - - - Updated - - - brian! - I know there are workarounds. I even said as much. My point was to offer small incremental improvements which should be relatively easy to implement - even making the dashboard calendar widget a link to the full calendar with all boxes checked would be a usability improvement that would be SUPER easy to implement.
  4. well how are you going to do that when they implement the auto-update which features request site says is 'in progress'?
  5. I've been looking at the dashboard calendar - I've never noticed it before (I don't think it's new though) - and on this version (v6.01) - it's not that helpful towards the end of the month - I don't see anywhere to click to view events for August and being that it's the end of the month on Friday, I would like to know what events are scheduled for the 1st part of next month. What would be useful would be: 1. >> arrows to see next month 2. the ability to click an entire week and see the total number of items in the week (products services renewing, domains renewing etc). 3. the ability to click on the summary of items and see which products/services, addons, domains etc are in this list - ie, it's all well and good to know X number of domains expire, but it would be more helpful to be able to click right to a list of those items. 4. enter start/end date to see items due in this time period?? Yes, I know I can go into invoices and view invoices unpaid, but that doesn't tell me if domains are setup as non-auto-renew and no invoice is generated. I also know I can go into domain registrations and sort by next due date - I'm looking for quick improvements, not the work-arounds I already have to find these things. hth
  6. well thank you for the location - although given the limit of the tweets at two - I'm going to have to reduce the size of the box that the tweets sit in - because two tweets in that large area is looking very wasteful of screen realestate. thank for the info though brian!
  7. Yes, my bad - because I was using grep -l .bio whoisservers.php it was returning positive because of .bio.br - so I was erroneously concluding that my whoisservers.php file was my custom version. I still think they should recode this system - there needs to be a whoisservers-core.php - which we don't alter and a whoisservers-custom.php If the custom version has a different whois server for one of the core entries, then that custom version is used - all our custom newTLDs would go into whoisservers-custom.php and this file would NOT get overwritten on full or incremental update. Better still - in the admin whois tools, it could report whether the whois server being used is core or custom so we can know which file is in play. I believe this fairly small and easy to code enhancement would be a big improvement that would save a lot of time for a lot of users.
  8. Can we change the number of tweets we show on the six template easily? I've been searching in general settings and all over the place - can't seem to find any variable in the back-end - but I could well be missing it... tia
  9. apparently my whoisservers.php was overwritten without me noticing - that'll teach me to grep -l bio instead of '^.bio|' when checking if my newTLDs were overwritten or not. When oh when are they going to have core whoisservers.php and our custom-whoisservers.php where our custom ones don't get overwritten?!?!
  10. Since upgrading to v6.01 none of our whois queries for anything but the basic TLDs seems to work - I've checked that our whoisservers.php is intact - did they move it in v6? Most perplexed... Yes, I did open a helpdesk ticket - nothing back from WHMCS support as yet.
  11. has anyone else had problems with .bio lately? we have some .bio domains sold to customers and the whois is broken: # # whois anything.bio@whois.nic.bio [Querying http://whois.nic.bio/register/whois.hei] [HTTP: Unable to run web browser: /usr/bin/lynx: No such file or directory] # we also have a problem with WHMCS 6 telling us we can't do whois lookups on nearly all newTLDs - opening a thread about that next....
  12. I raised the sort issue at cPanel 2014 - the guys I spoke to seemed to think it was a good idea - but disappointingly, they also seemed like it was the first time they were hearing this suggestion, ie, no-one goes through this forum and plucks out items for the wishlist...
  13. We just tried to register 2 .BIO domains - WHMCS errors communicating with eNom with "Extended attribute: bio_agree is required." - how do we fix this - and how do we find out which new TLDs have similar issues before we "roll them out".
  14. has anyone registered .BIO through WHMCS? What's the secret? We got errors bio_agree missing on the two domains we tried to register - in the end I logged into our enom backend and did the registration manually - added them in as an order without sending to the registrar - but boy is that a pain. ...
