Here is how to fix the issues you are having. I previously used the ServerPing Module also. and was getting the same error as you. Completely remove your templates folder. It used to contain templates such as "Classic, Default, portal, six) etc... with 7.1 it only uses the "six" template.. this has neccessary changes for Stripe and various other payment gateways ready to go. So remove the templates folder from: /WHMCS-PATH/templates Unzip and transfer the templates folder from 7.1 into its location instead. Inside this folder should just be 2 folders "orderforms" and "six" Then go into "General Settings" in your admin area and set the " The template you want WHMCS to use " to "six" and this will utilize the new stripe hooks and appropriate gateway hooks necessary to work. Ok maybe not a huge problem. I just upgraded to 5.2.2. I really do not like the admin "blend" layout so I use the v4 layout. I noticed there were some changes done to the ticket system layout. And as a web designer and interface designer I really really really really HATE, the fact there is no differentiation between replies. In "blend" there is a thin line, but in V4 it is a mess, and looks cluttered and is hard to read and is hard on the eyes. Seriously, look at this: It's a MESS. I suggest you fix this. I'm normally not one to complain about things. I'm really upset and really would like to see an update/fix to this. I do not want to downgrade just to fix this issue that is ridiculous

Just remembered. I had someone on one of our clients blogs get in and try bruteforcing the root password so CPHulk blocked the server ip. Therefor a server trying to login to itself wouldn't create the account. Flush or remove your server from cphulk or the firewall and try again. I feel foolish for wasting 45 minutes to find that out when it was so simple.

Same... I've never had this problem, I haven't run an update and this randomly started happening. Ever since cPanel updated to the new interface none of my WHMCS's have been able to run commands, I keep getting login failed.

I thought I would kind of post my personal feedback if you don't mind about V5. I'm a web designer myself, and we use WHMCS and of course, we were using the latest of version 4. I'm all for the Web 2.0 look, but I don't think it belonged in this one, I wish V4 was the default Admin template because Blend I think is really bad looking and poorly laid out with its navigation up top. And Czech is the default language which I think is Ironic because that is the setting in the system, however everything is displaying in English. Some bugs I've noticed so far: When installing a fresh install of v5, Forgetting to put your license in on step 2, then proceeding, asks you to put in your license and "go back". However going back, when I put in my license the "continue" button was no longer usable and was whited out. http://www.whmcs.com/whats-new/ Under the "Automated Email Marketer" There is a typo in that paragraph, Maxmise, should be Maximize. I haven't had the time to really play around with the new features just yet because, we're having some issues running it on our server, we keep getting Invalid Token, every-time we try modifying a user account or administrator account. (A Token has already been opened) I'm going to have to redesign my own client area and integration for my customers, I'm just not liking the intuitiveness of its current state, which wont be a problem. There seems to be a lot of hype of Version 5, so congratulations guys!!

Im trying to upgrade to v4.4 I replaced all the files (except the logo.jpg) and when I go to install/install.php it says: Security Warning The install folder needs to be deleted for security reasons before using WHMCS Now how am I supposed to upgrade when it says that? Also when I remove or rename the folder and manage to log into whmcs it shows that its upgraded and I am using 4.4 it says. I know I have not done so because I'm still lacking 4.4 functionality.

Either or, Its nice to just have paper copies of clients so lets say if the DB were to crash or something we have hard copies of information. If we needed to re-add. Like general with any and all business, things happen to computers that are un-repairable at times.

I haven't been using WHMCS very long. But I run a web design company. It would be nice if we can keep hard copies of our clients by an option to print the contents of their "Profile" Name, address, etc etc. Just a suggestion. If we can download / print a PDF of the clients information type of thing. Perhaps there is an option and I do not know of it or how ot use it exactly. - Alex

Hello, I have kind of an odd situation. I'm looking for a script that would actually not be used for webhosting. I'm building a script I'm going to be using Web-Based, and I am going to need a software that will automatically create the Sub-domain on the server and ALSO be able to have a SQL database linked directly to the new sub-domain. I don't want the users having any access to cPanel though or whatever software I do choose to use. The users will need to be able to download or able to download the latest versions of the software (if they have bought the extended support option ect ect.. ) Would WHMCS be overkill? or could it work perfectly?

Yes it works with resellers. Assuming your referring to you being a reseller and your trying to get it to setup accounts.
