1. I am trying to do an import from a hostbill database but some items does not seem to get imported; 1. Not all servers are imported, seems that it's the cpanel2 servers or something that is not getting imported. Not sure, but only a couple of my 6-7 servers were actually imported. 2. The accounts does not get a server ID imported, it's 0 for all posts. 3. Some accounts is not showing for some clients. Might be for 0 cost or Free as billing cycle. Also, I had a weird error message on importing where it stated that "!" payment gateway was missing, however I added the one I thought was missing and it went through. Not a big deal, but maybe someone have use of this information. EDIT: Another issue, the client passwords doesn't seem to work.
2. Looks like this addon is broken since 7.1. The customer panel link disappeared and when going to the url for unblocking manually, the unblocking doesn't seem to work at all. Is there an update coming? https://forums.whmcs.com/showthread.php?49558-UnBlockIP-Free-CSF-Unblock-Module-for-WHMCS
3. /cry It hurts my soul to see this... glui.me/?i=a89oh98xuu5kqg0/2015-08-18_at_07.59.png
4. Hi, I am getting quite bad performance with WHMCS 6 compared to my old installation. The problem is that I have changed server entirely, but php 5.6 alone should give a boost from 5.3. Now my clientarea.php is loading in 0.250s which is ~150ms more than my old installation. --- #php -v PHP 5.6.9-0+deb8u1 (cli) (built: Jun 5 2015 11:03:27) Copyright (c) 1997-2015 The PHP Group Zend Engine v2.6.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2015 Zend Technologies with the ionCube PHP Loader (enabled) + Intrusion Protection from ioncube24.com (unconfigured) v5.0.14, Copyright (c) 2002-2015, by ionCube Ltd. with Zend OPcache v7.0.4-dev, Copyright (c) 1999-2015, by Zend Technologies --- --- # nginx -v nginx version: nginx/1.6.2 --- --- # ab -n 1 https://*******/clientarea.php This is ApacheBench, Version 2.3 <$Revision: 1604373 $> Copyright 1996 Adam Twiss, Zeus Technology Ltd, http://www.zeustech.net/ Licensed to The Apache Software Foundation, http://www.apache.org/ Benchmarking ******* (be patient).....done Server Software: nginx/1.6.2 Server Hostname: ******* Server Port: 443 SSL/TLS Protocol: TLSv1.2,ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384,2048,256 Document Path: /clientarea.php Document Length: 8971 bytes Concurrency Level: 1 Time taken for tests: 0.245 seconds Complete requests: 1 Failed requests: 0 Total transferred: 9320 bytes HTML transferred: 8971 bytes Requests per second: 4.08 [#/sec] (mean) Time per request: 244.931 [ms] (mean) Time per request: 244.931 [ms] (mean, across all concurrent requests) Transfer rate: 37.16 [Kbytes/sec] received Connection Times (ms) min mean[+/-sd] median max Connect: 4 4 0.0 4 4 Processing: 241 241 0.0 241 241 Waiting: 236 236 0.0 236 236 Total: 245 245 0.0 245 245 --- Anyone have any ideas on how to speed things up? 5. The language variable $_ADDONLANG['menu_label'] is not read from my swedish.php, it seem to always be read from english.php.
6. v 2.02 works fine with whmcs 6.0.1. Found that the translation for support menu item is not working for some reason. Tried to check the source, but looks fine to me.
7. Mech, It looks very good. Very impressed. Looks like you spent a lot of energy on this. Did you do the order pages with the API or just template changes?
8. Actually, it was not so much the look of it that put me off. It was the clunky operator interface that only works in windows and the fact that the chat wouldn't follow from page to page which forces the visitor to pop out the window to have a conversation and use the website at the same time. Zopim is os agnostic and the ui is great. No clutter and works very well.
9. I'm using zopim, and the only thing I am missing is a function to create a ticket from a conversation, link to user profile in admin and a foolproof way to see that the client is logged in. I have tried the livechat that whmcs sells (stardevelop) and I rate it very low mostly for UI reasons. I couldn't stand it so I took it away. Also had kayako a while back, and then it was very buggy, but I bet it's different now. I tried the included/built in live chat in a competing product with whmcs, and I liked the way everything was connected, links to user profile, create ticket from chat, etc. This is actually something I think WHMCS should consider instead of selling the stardevelop one. Zopim is a better sales tool though because of the automated chat initiations and is also very reasonably priced, so thats where we stayed. Here is a zopim uservoice for voting in some whmcs features, go vote: https://zopim.uservoice.com/forums/19490-general/suggestions/2358423-integration-with-whmcs
10. No, not intentionally anyway. I'll have to check. =)
11. I would not mind getting the security alerts by email in the future. Don't know if it was intentionally not sent, or is it that I am the only one who didn't get one?
12. You probably haven't applied the latest security updates and you should upgrade now. Also you should probably check what harm might have been caused.
13. PHP is still limiting the performance, but overall it is still a snappier experience to run whmcs under nginx. Static resources are loading crazy fast. It's not super hard, but it all depends on what you think is hard. I will never go back to apache with whmcs.
14. No, I am not. I have done the configuration by hand. Running on debian.
