  1. Why did you roll back after the upgrade? I mean you did do the upgrade on a development platform not your live system right?
  2. I've been with eNom for 10 years now and paid to be a platinum partner. The reasons? 1) Lowest tier pricing 2) Dedicated account manager who I'm on first name terms with 3) Exclusive promos 4) Heads up on forthcoming changes Considering it's a one-off fee it's paid for itself many times over. As a professional business I have no objections in paying for a quality service as it reflects what I in turn provide. - - - Updated - - - You also have to rely on whmcs passing on promotions plus no dedicated account manager. You get what you pay for.
  3. Actually you can, you can get a development license FOC simply by asking for one as long as you have your license is purchased from WHMCS. Sigh. Now you're being ridiculous... The point I'm making that you are clearly missing is that it is not anyones responsiblity but your own that software you install in a production environment is performing as expected. Every time an upgrade comes out we test the hell out of it on a staging platform to make sure it doesn't break anytthing and cause us problems. I would suggest you do the same.
  4. This is web based software not server based, comparing with cPanel is apples and pears. The point I'm making is that you are complaining that you didn't test the software on a non-production server, you just assumed it would be OK and now you have a problem and are demanding it be fixed. Moral of the story, use a staging server if your production environment is really that critical and avoid the pain.
  5. Did any of you actually test the upgrade on a non-production server?
  6. How is this different to the license manager WHMCS provide?
  7. http://docs.whmcs.com/Version_5.3_Release_Notes#Upgrade_Steps
  8. Or just pre-auth orders from new customers. eNom changed their refund policy years ago...
  9. So in other words if you are using WHMCS and eNom don't bother selling the new gTLDs. So why the hell did they bother with the pre-launch tool which was guff anyway??
  10. Same boat. eNom whois works fine, pricing is foobared. I've sent a ticket into support to see if the premium domains can be ignored within the account. Failing that it will he to be a rewrite of the eNom module... - - - Updated - - - Looks like the API returns if it is a premium domain using the Check command.
  11. I rest my case and Infopro is on the money. It is tedious to re-read continuous posts berating WHMCS for peoples own mistakes. And for the record I don't have time to try all the fun things you suggested, I'm too busy running a business...
  12. So in other words you didn't test this on a dev install, you tested on your live installation and are now jumping up on down on the forums demanding action because you have uploaded the patched files, something has clearly gone wrong and your business is broken. I would suggest opening a ticket with support.
  13. Why did you not test the upgrade on a dev install first? It is your responsibility to test patches on your installation, not anyone elses...
