  1. I like the automated functionality of this new Addon for WHMCS but I have a few questions about it. SSL An SSL certificate requires a dedicated IP number. Provisioning of the IP number is manual in my case and can't be automated. Provisioning the SSL is going to fail if there is no dedicated IP in place. Is there a way to bundle SSL and dedicated IP together at sale time and pause processing on the SSL until the dedicated IP is configured? What would happen if an SSL order was initiated without a dedicated IP? Weebly The biggest benefit aside from the sitebuilder for Weebly-hosted users is that site level security is managed by Weebly. Wordpress users need to provide a great deal of site security themselves which ends up being a significant ongoing cost. When a Weebly built site is hosted on my host, what sort of security exists against hacking and abuse? I presume that all Weebly files are HTM files and that there are no site-level scripts running on my host. Correct? If so this would be reasonably secure as there are no hooks or programable resources accessible for hackers to use. Provided cPanel was kept secure and the site regularly backed up and scanned for malware, it should be pretty safe I think. Am I missing anything? Payment Presumably we need to keep a positive balance in the kitty so that services stay active. Not having an automated payment facility is a bit of a drag. What happens if the kitty is empty at charge time. Any grace period? Anyone else using MarketConnect yet? What do you think? Cheers Guys
  2. Tried the eway token module with an existing customer and all the right details. It fails to process with an error "The credit card details you entered were declined. Please try a different card or contact support. " Since I am support, this is a worry. Payment attempt through tokens in the eWay admin panel goes through no sweat. So eWay token system and cc details are fine. The payment module is having a problem. Either the module does not work or there is operational information missing. Either way customers are going to be thrilled about this. Keep the pressure on guys. There are enough of us who need this to sing a loud song surely.
  3. Now the eWay AU token payments module has been released http://docs.whmcs.com/EWay_Tokens how should we go about moving clients with stored credit card information across to tokenised payments please? Tony --
  4. Any time I press the "Save Changes" button on the Domains page, the response screen is a plain text string Array ( [action] => savedomain [userid] = ... ) If I back out and return to the Summary or domains page again I can see that the new data was saved OK. It's just the response screen that does not progress. --Tony
  5. Looking for a little clarification on the finer points of setting up WHMCS please. I want to create a hosting product (say Home hosting), based on a WHM package name (say Home), which I have set up on multiple WHM/cPanel servers (say host1 and host2). So far I have... 1. On each server I have created identical packages with the same name (Home). The package names are referenced by (say) host1user_Home and host2user_Home. 2. In WHMCS I have setup the two servers (host1 and host 2) and created a Server Group (WHMhosting) that includes both servers and assigns accounts between the two servers. 3. In WHMCS I have created the product (Home hosting) and in Module Settings I have set the "Server group" to WHMhosting. In the "WHM Package Name" field I have entered "Home". 4. There is also a field that toggles "Add Prefix to Package" which I have tried checking and leaving unchecked to test. Checked seems the obvious way to prefix the WHM package name with either host1user or host2user when provisioning a product. However I have a suspicion that this applies ONLY to reseller accounts. Advice? With item 4 clarified, will WHMCS assign hosting packages between servers as intended? The problem I have encountered is that it does not seem to apply to importing WHM/cPanel accounts. The import utility will not import accounts unless the precisely matching WHM Package name is configured in Product/Module settings. This is not consistent with the intention of the 1 package name/multi-host concept. Any tips on this matter greatly appreciated. -- Tony
