  1. I just updated to V7.0.1 from 6.x. A little bumpy but all in all it seems to be working fine. That all being said I am trying to get it fully configured and ready to go for future updates. So I know that I am at the latest version and cannot yet use the auto-updater to update to a new version BUT I want to get it configured so t hat I am ready when the time comes. But it won't save with my settings. So I go to Utilities -> Update WHMCS and I authenticate. In the top right I choose: CONFIGURE UPDATE SETTINGS. I set my update type to stable, put in a path of a dir I created for my temp path, and an update note and hit SAVE. Nothing happens. I have let it sit for 15 minutes and nothing happens, no errors, nothing. If I close the window hit the CONFIGURE UPDATE SETTINGS option again my settings have not been saved. I have tried only changing one setting, tried different setting options and so on, but no matter what combination of settings I try it is the same end result....I cannot save these settings. Any ideas?
  2. I'd like to have some custom reporting tools added to our WHMCS that help us see domain income. The Income By Product report that WHMCS has is great, but it doesn't show income for domain registrations. I would love to have a report that shows income for domain registrations. Would be nice if it was further broken down by type: new registration, renewals, transfers It wouldn't hurt to have some TLD reports, but those are not 100% necessary. Curious what anyone would charge for this.
  3. Oops, sorry, I thought I had posted in that forum. I must have switched without realizing it. Will post there now, thanks!

  5. I have recently upgraded to v6 and I really like the tag cloud in the KB and have tagged all of my articles appropriately. However the tag cloud is huge, is there a way to limit it to only show x number of tags in the tag cloud?
  6. Thanks, I just searched ENOM and didn't see anything that popped out but this definitely gets me on track. I haven't read that whole blog post yet, will do so tomorrow, but it looks like that should answer the questions.
  7. Just received an email from enom today that they are going to start sending our clients renewal notices (has to do with ICANN requirements). We'd prefer this not to happen and they do have an opt out method but they require a few things that I am not sure if WHMCS can do. As enom is a rather large provider that many use I am guessing I will not be the only one that hopes to address these items. I searched the forums and didn't see a discussion about it, if I missed that I apologize. I know that in WHMCS in the Automation settings area I can choose the time frame for when reminders are sent. If I put a negative number will it send it post domain expiration (as required) or will WHMCS not understand that? I.e. I am thinking maybe I could put a "-3" as the number of days to send the fifth reminder and it would actually send it 3 days after it expires. Is that correct? If not is there anyway to have WHMCS send a reminder notice post domain expiration? Does WHMCS send the renewal notice to the account email on file for the user who owns that domain, or does it actually look up the email used as the domain name registrant and send to the proper domain registrant email as enom is requiring? I don't see anywhere in WHMCS where I can set it up to do this. Is this possible? Thanks for your time.
