  1. Which companies or individuals do you recommend for custom theme development? We have always developed our theme in-house. Over time our theme has been stitched and glued together and although it's working and even looks pretty decent, it doesn't feel right to move on with this patched up piece of work. Our theme removes and adds some functions to make it easier for our customers. Features we definitely need are: Mass payment of invoices from the home screen, we have a hook for that and it can be reused; Disable cancellations if invoices are still due (we could purchase a plugin for that instead of the glue we have now); Integration with our ticketing system (Kayako currently, but we're looking to migrate to SupportPal) In the future we want to move our custom pages to full featured WHMCS plugins. We have pages for DNS-related management (DNS cluster/DNS records) that could be rewritten as a proper plugin. It's definitely a big plus if that can be done by the same company or person. For the sake of clarity: We're not looking for an individual or company who adds a header and footer and calls that integration; we really want something nice and I've seen it go wrong before. You will need to be familiar with git; we need to follow the guidelines from WHMCS and we have a custom git repo + branch for this purpose. We haven't set out a specific budget but from earlier conversations with ModulesGarden about custom development; that's out of our price range at the moment for this project.
  2. I don't recall you having contacted our support recently. Have you been in touch with us yet? WHMCS turns all errors off by default, so if you get a blank page you could have hit a bug in our code or you may be missing a PHP module for instance. It relies on the soap module for example, so if that's not installed you would get a blank page. This is a pretty common thing in WHMCS and more information about the subject can be found here: http://docs.whmcs.com/Blank_Pages. Although I understand you have issues I don't feel it's right to warn people by saying the module doesn't work. We have a lot of people using this module and it works for them. We're more than happy to look into your problems too, but if you don't tell us directly and only mention it on this forum it's pretty difficult for us to help you out. So if you haven't spoken to us already, please contact us via e-mail and we'll do our best to make this work for you too.
  3. You would still need to use the bank's software to upload the data. We only generate a valid XML file that can be processed by the bank. We do have a set of screenshots available. If you can send us an e-mail we can send them to you.
  4. We do have a fully functional SEPA module available that has been released in the WHMCS app store as well. We are limited by the functionality we have available through WHMCS but all in all I believe it is a solid solution that can be used by companies in all European countries that use SEPA. We have focussed mainly on The Netherlands to begin with, but if banks in other countries have issues processing the XML files the module generates we are happy to look at improving this module to support those countries too.
  5. Sorry for the late response. This module doesn't go as far as that. It creates the volume, sets the limitations and creates a user that can use it. The script we supply with this module assists in installing the backup software on a server, but doesn't do the other things you mentioned. We don't provide trial licenses I'm afraid. We hand out full code access with this module though and what you mention can be done, but it would be something you have to code yourself.
  6. Where your installation runs is irrelevant. This integration will always track the order if you set it up to do that. Keep in mind though that if you have particular funnels or other ways of tracking conversions Google may see your main domain as referrer. Whether or not that's a bad thing is up to you.
  7. You can use Idera as an admin-only system or set-up resellers and users. Our integration sets up users and stores the used backup space. Restore and archive points are limited by the module depending on your product settings. It's not suitable for pay-as-you-go, although you could bill on overages if you want to.
  8. Sorry for the delayed response. We haven't tested this with version 3. We support version 5.
  9. Hi Luke, I think I've responded to these questions via e-mail but I'll answer them here too. Upgrades are trackable but to link them back to the original purchase is something that goes beyond what we can do with Google Analytics. It would probably be easier to track this from within WHMCS. And yes: it's recommended to disable the module from WHMCS if you're using this module. You'll risk tracking orders twice if you don't. Feel free to reach out to us via e-mail if there are further questions. We welcome all feedback.
  10. Because it seems to be normal to shout whenever something goes wrong and I'm getting tired of it in general. Perhaps I shouldn't try to change the world. I did give you the solution as well though but you probably missed that. Ah right, so you're allowed to miss it but WHMCS isn't? Makes sense.
  11. You don't get the point do you? If something doesn't go your way polite people don't shout to one another. I'm not defending WHMCS, I just find it ridiculous that people use caps lock for no reason. As I said (but you probably didn't read that), I do think that they could've done some more testing before releasing it. The other side to that story is that you should test on a development environment as well before you put things live. If you don't, you're as much to blame as WHMCS is. Nevertheless they released a fix for this an hour after the problem was found. I assume you have tried that already?
  12. Not really. The configuration file is loaded before everything else. That means your custom language files will be overwritten by the defaults. Doesn't matter though as there is a solution for that already which is supported by WHMCS. Did you read the full thread?
  13. I originally wrote something else here but I thought I'd rephrase it a bit. In the end it's not about claiming to be the first, we don't try (or even want) to claim that either. We only wanted to show how easy it is to develop something like what we have done, to backup the feature request, regardless of the fact that there might be old code developed to that already, and while we did we thought we could give it back to the community. In my opinion that makes sense. Yours seems to differ a bit. Doesn't seem to be appreciated that we release something open source apparently.
  14. Do you shout to your customers as well if they don't pay on time? I can understand that it's frustrating but typing your post in caps lock isn't how most people communicate. That said I do think that WHMCS could've been more thorough in their testing before releasing something like this.

    a thank you

Although some seem to have issues with domain registrations after the release. Not everyone will be as pleased with it as you are.
