Yes it does indeed, it will be added to this todo list also - - - Updated - - - Currently the todo list is admin only and not integrated with clients Regarding the widget not by standard however if you contact us via support tickets once you've ordered we can change this for you

Currently it doesn't support recurring expenses however this is a planned feature for the next version

Yes this module does include a replacement widget to show additional data

Yes it does however works on the basis of the admin user group.

Sounds like you've been using a very very old version as the last version only had 1 bug of a blank page in the admin area addon modules, The current release is now v3 and i'd recommend trying this as its completely been redesigned and so far proving very stable, If you do find any bugs in the v3 please submit a support ticket with these and we can get them resolved for you.

You do not have to renew the support and updates this is totally optional however without renewing this you wouldn't be entitled to updates (including bug fixes) and support, this works in the same fashion as a owned WHMCS license.
