  2. Hi All, I've just come for some advise. I've started getting errors occasionally appearing in my Activity Log. They read: Smarty Error: unable to read resource: "/home/username/public_html/client/templates/portal/.tpl". Does anyone have an idea as to what is causing this and how I would go about resolving it?   3. Hi John, Thanks for taking the time to reply to my thread. I hadn't yet changed over the modules after Directi discontinued their old API. Once changing this over and adding my servers IP address into the Directi system as per WHMCS documentation, everything is working fine again. Thank you for your assistance John! Tim
  4. You actually need to setup the hosting packages in both WHMCS and WHM. It's a bit difficult to detail the entire process in this post for you, so I'd suggest reviewing WHMCS documentation at http://docs.whmcs.com/Products_and_Services. This should help you get your product and services setup.
  5. I don't believe an option exists in WHMCS to contact an admin upon client registration. There is an option within WHMCS to have all emails sent via WHMCS BCC'd to an email address. If you use this feature and then have an email rule setup to flag new client area information emails, this could be a possible alternative?
  6. Hi All, I'm having a bit of an issue getting WHMCS to connect to the Directi API. I have confirmed that my Domain Registrar details are correct (customer id, username, password etc), but when attempting to modify domain names or view a domain names EPP code, WHMCS doesn't appear to be able to connect to the Directi API to change or view the information. It's probably a setting that I have over looked as I've had it working for a few years now with no issues, but there doesn't appear to be anything obvious that I have missed. Any help? Cheers, Tim

  10. Hello, I am just wondering if its possible to modify the page that displays to clients when a product is out of stock? I had a poke around the template files but couldn't really seem to find anything that could help. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
  11. You can't create policies that conflict with the law. If his countries law says that clients have the right to disagree and pay only the initial invoice amount, you can't go and say that they have to pay. You can try, but it wouldn't be enforced by a court.
  12. Use stock control. Just mark all products with 0 stock and clients will just get a "out of stock" notice which prompts them to contact you, which might be better than a error 404.
