  1. i assume nothing has changed with this? its even more of a nightmare now as even more TLD's and more frequently price changes.
  2. is there any way to block someone by company name or user name? I have a problem user who keeps signing up for a new account, using a different email address, purchasing services for 1 month, and then all the payments start failing. The problem is that the services he signs up for cost me money and are manually provisioned, so by the time he has had his 3rd overdue notice and been cancelled, it has already cost me money, so I need to block this person from signing up again. He always uses the same name, address and company name, so is there any way for me to block those?

When clients reply to tickets on an iPhone, this seems to result in all the formatting and newlines being remove and the entire content is on 1 long line. this of course make the replies very hard to read. Anyone aware of what is causing this and how to fix it? Is it an iPhone issue or a WHMCS issue?
  4. I have had feedback from multiple clients over the years that they find the shopping cart confusing, especially on mobile. Had another one today, so thought I would find out if there is any way to address this and improve the experience for clients and make it more intuitive. I have attached a screenshot to illustrate the issue. At the top of the cart page, is 3 drop downs, asking the customer to choose a category, an action and choose a currency. This immediately causes confusion, as clients think that they need to choose one of these options, they don;t understand this is just navigation, which of course just results in them being sent off to another page when they do, and the order process has now been abandoned and they get completely lost and confused I tend to agree, that this does look very confusing on a mobile device. And since most people are using mobile these days, this is now more of an issue. Is there any way to improve this or any more intuitive shopping cart templates available? Also, is there any ay to get rid of the currency drop down? I do not offer any either currently, only GBP, but was forced to enable USD to use marketplace, which causes that dropdown to appear allowing customers to switch to USD.
  5. whmcs has a built-in tld sync tool, but this only updates the TLD pricing not clients prices. there is also an addon in the marketplace by nerdle that syncs everything, TLD's and client pricing. Its enom only though.

I have setup a partnership with another company who will be offering my products and services to their clients , they will be doing this by upselling them during their own ordering process. they will take the initial payment (first month) and then pass the client to me. they keep the first month's payment as their commission. this seems like the best way to get the sale, rather than using affiliate links, which may take clients away from the original purchase. I will then need to set the client up in my WHMCS for recurring billing and provisioning. Ideally, I want the customer to signup manually, so I make sure I collect all their details, so they setup their security questions/answers, enable 2FA and so I can also upsell other products at the same time. So I am thinking the best way to do this would be to give my partner discount codes for each product, which gives 1 month free, and provide this to their customer, with instructions to come and signup with us and use that discount code. The problem is that the promo codes in WHMCS lack any ability to give them a name or description to say what they are, so managing this seems like it will be a massive PITA. Yes I see I can add admin notes, but this is not displayed anyone except when editing the promo code. I also don't want anyone to be able to give these out or share them, I want to somehow restrict them to referrals form this partner. Has anyone got any suggestions or perhaps a better way to achieve what I am trying to do here?

  9. I am redeveloping my website and am having this issue. But it does not occur on the old/existing site, which means it obviously is possible to get this working with captcha enabled, but I just don't know how, as I have not done anything special on the old site.

  11. Hi, no I don't use slack, isn't that basically a messaging/chat system? I would be concerned that such messages would just get missed. Ideally, I want to keep everything in WHMCS, at least with a ticket, it stays there open until someone deals with it
  12. I need to get notified when clients order certain products, as it requires some manual work. Normally I would use auto-release to create a ticket, but in this case I since these products already use the CPANEL module to provision the hosting aspect. any other solution ?
  13. piping only works if the email is hosted on the same server as the website, which is not the case here. My emails is with google workspace.
  14. is there any way to make it "one-time" by default rather than recurring? I also do not want it applied to all products by default, as some I do not have any room for commission and do not want it to be enabled by accident or default. there seems to be a lot of room for error here. I only want it enabled if I have explicitly enabled it on a product.
