  1. This has been driving me mad for several versions now.... this damn 'Whats new' popup I get on the homepage of my admin panel. Doesnt matter how many times I ticket the box 'Don't show this again until next update' The sucker is still there! HELP its driving me mad :( H
  2. Hi thank you for the reply. I did try that but if I add the server in that way, the customer is not presented with any 'login' button on details via their control panel. Eg no way for them to login to WHM H
  3. Hi all quick question. So I am using Sagepay token payments, which will attempt to automatically bill customers for all their services. My questions is - if they select a domain to NOT auto renew - will this stop Sagepay form attempting to take a payment automatically? Essentially overwriting the token for that specific domain>? Thanks H
  4. I have a question. I created a invoice for a customer for a renewal (via the admin area) - generate invoice for selected etc.. However I made a mistake and did not select all the addons for the product, so bottom line the invoice was wrong. So I deleted the invoice with the view of resending it to them with the correct items added etc. However the system will not allow me to create another invoice for the product because its already generated one today. Is there a ways around this? I guess I should not have deleted the invoice and instead edited ir, or cancelled it.... But is there a way I can generate another invoice today or do I have to wait till tomorrow? Thanks in advance. H
  5. Hi all Im struggling to figure out how to sell VPS and servers as a product on WHMCS As I understand is so far: I sell a VPS.... I would then purchase it from my supplier and get root access to WHM I would then need to add the VPS as a Server in WHMCS using those root login details etc. I can then assign the relevant product to the customer ok... but...how do I give the customer root access to their server? At the moment I can only manage to add a user account to the customer (eg if I create a account via the VPS WHM I can then give the customer cPanel access. But i need to give them root level access as they will need to control the whole server. Any advise welcome. H.
  6. Thanks although domains do not register correctly anyway when via Nominet. This has already been documented (some 4yrs ago) here: https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/nominet-domain-registration-improvements Hiding 'WHOIS Opt-out' should have no effect on registrations. But the above link explains the issues with 'Company ID Number' etc. Would be nice to see some action on it. H
  7. Hi all. Im a reseller and use my supplier to register domains. Currently my domains signup page asks users for: Company ID Number WHOIS Opt-out Registrant Name I would like to hide the 'WHOIS Opt-out' option as it has no 'automated effect' when the user registers a domain. They can opt out manually when they manage their domain via their CP (through my suppliers API). I would like to edit the wording for 'Company ID Number' - this is not taken from the lang file so cant see how/where to edit it. I would like to edit the wording for 'Registrant Name' - this is not taken from the lang file so cant see how/where to edit it. Any help gratefully received. H
  8. Hey Brian - ok I have the answer in my instance. I have setup my add on services (what I regard as add on services, eg SSL, Privacy, Site Builder, Exchange email etc etc.) as 'add-on' products. However I have been informed that Paypal subscriptions are only for 'product/services' and will not work for 'add-ons' or 'domains'. So it looks like its a case of mixed terminology and that I have incorrectly setup my add on services as 'add-ons' in WHMCS instead of a 'Product/Service'. I hope that helps someone else. H
  9. Hi all so I have my WHMCS installation here: my.mydomain.com/customers but my main website is here: http://www.mydomain.com (a wordpress website) These are two separate instances. In WHMCS I have set my domain ("The URL to your website homepage") to http://www.mydomain.com and my system install to my.mydomain.com/customers/ Now, if a user clicks on one of my customers affiliate links, it will redirect them to the main website (http://www.mydomain.com) - allowing them to then browser and maybe make a purchase (all good).... BUT of course the main (wordpress) website does not contain any affiliate tracking code, so the link is not tracked when/if the user makes a purchase. Is there a way I can manually add the tracking/affiliate code to the Wordpress site so it can work in this way? Thanks in advance H
  10. Hmm interesting..... So I just did another test order, but this time purchasing a yearly hosting plan (setup as a 1 or 2 yearly paid product/service, with the 'Recurring' payment type 'checked'. When I checked out I DID get the subscription option.... So i then did another test this time purchasing a monthly paid addon that ive been testing with (that is not giving me the subscription option) - this is setup as 'one time/monthly' payment with the 'Recurring' payment type 'checked'. And I did NOT get the subscription option.... #confused. H
