  1. Hi, I am looking at the pricing page, and where it says "An active client is defined as one with at least one active or suspended product, service, add-on or domain" does this mean that I can pay for one month and allow the recurring montly fee to lapse? If so, can I re-start at any time and then gain one full month from the time I unsuspend? Also, is billing pro-rated or is it a set time from when you commence? Thank you
  2. Cool (maybe). I understand why this is most likely the case, and I speculate it would be because having users without updates = software vulnerability. Having said that, this page: https://www.whmcs.com/pricing/ speaks of a Hosted version, so does anyone have information regarding that? All things being equal, it would not only be nice to have customers with the most resale customers paying more but assuming that someone starting out might have < 250 customers is still rent-seeking in my view and there should be an even lower plan I believe.
  3. I'm up for it don't worry but for something like this I believe I'd cope and get good support from forum participants if no one else. Bit of a shame, I'd really like to be able to do some reasonable modifications during the demonstration period but I guess on a month-to-month basis it would be possible.
  4. Yes, I believe so. What I did read is the secondary sale must be arranged though the support site so is it possible to arrange a seller? In regard to branding or not, I'm thinking of obtaining a branded license and upgrading for want of a better term, that seems to be the only real grace given in my view.
  5. Hi Brian, I'm used the that with Perch actually, some things are and others are not but in this case some elements of the WHMCS site have massive sideways scrolling so are therefore *not* responsive. Cheers
  6. Personally I don't care about having branding for clients and I don't see why anyone would really but then again I am new to all this so may change my point of view over time; hence the ability to upgrade. Next question, what is the situation around reselling of licenses and what kind of average price would you be able to expect?
  7. So it's 30 days regardless of which license I might buy? From my understanding and interpretation of the licensing model, the only (technically) real way to "get my feet wet" would be to purchase an unbranded lifetime license and upgrade to the the unbranded version but this is just my point of view and probably speaks to my current feeling around the product.
  8. Does it appear on my re-sold websites or just when my re-sold users are logged into the service, e.g. when they are ordering a domain or hosting?
  9. I believe this covers any and all license types, including lifetime licenses however as I understand you only get one chance, that is the money back guarantee cannot be used more than once for one person on any domain. As to the fairness of this, I'm not really impressed but I'd like to be corrected on this. I guess this means I cannot "dip my toes" but rather I must either put both my feet in or dive in completely and be happy that a company has my best interests at heart.
  10. So is the output fully responsive? I've noticed that the WHMCS website itself, while responsive has issues in relation to the display of images, i.e. there is no fancy pop-up for the page where media could be displayed automatically as an object (full screen or otherwise).
  11. What about a Blank template? On a side note, can you install the software in a "demonstration" mode, e.g. without having a license?
  12. Hi, So does the 30 days cover any type of license including lifetime?
  13. Here is a screenshot: I don't like the idea of two menus, very confusing so is that how my site is going to look if I install this software?
  14. Sounds good, maybe you should be on commission So let me get this right, WHMCS is installed on a web hosting in a similar way to say WordPress, so I can run just that as a standalone product, or does it merely constitute a page on a website? I am using Perch on a web hosting and that is simple, it does not interfere with my existing HTML based site; it just feeds content from the database when called upon so would WHMCS work in a similar way since I'd not want to be fighting with templates especially at the price being asked. To reiterate, I am already resigned to getting Unbranded simply because I cannot imagine in my wildest dreams that I will be able to customise the forced advertisment but if there are menus and things I cannot change even with CSS then my concern is my job will only be made more difficult.
  15. Thanks for that information. So is the system meant to follow what goes on in the wholesale system or are we still generating recurring invoices manually, e.g. is there an option when purchasing a product (for a non-reseller customer such as an admin) to generate an invoice automatically?
