1. Hi guys, I need to add some configuration options to my add-on module. However I can't find any information anywhere that shows the proper routine to take within the _output() function. I have set the config array of all fields I want to be made available but no idea what to do next. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks
2. As soon as a user logs in to WHMCS they will be synced to intercom. At the moment it syncs: - name - company name - join date - account status - whether they have opt out of marketing emails In the future I will implement synced fields to be chosen from WHMCS admin.
3. Hey, Just thought I would share a small Add-on Module we developed which easily integrates Intercom.io customer platform into WHMCS. I'm not sure how useful it will be to many but thought I would share it anyway If you don't know, Intercom offerings things like live chat, support, etc... This module will add the chat widget and start collecting useful data about your customers and feed it into Intercom's system. Download free: http://xtm.host/itrcm
4. Hi, Just a quick question regarding support emails and piping. I have all sales enquiries sent to sales@mydomain.com - This is also the PayPal address (plus various other things like stripe) the problem I have is WHMCS automatically imports these emails as tickets and then emails customers with the ticket info. Does this mean a support department email address can only be used exclusively for WHMCS ticket system and shouldn't be used for anything else? like PayPal address, or is there a way around this?
5. Thanks for the reply. I am not using a reseller. WHMCS logs in to my server as root user. In my case it's using the value "Disk Space MB" that is set when setting up packages in WHMCS within the cPanel module.. the reseller account is created from WHMCS as root. Which is essential making the package settings in WHM and 'Reseller Disk Space' in WHMCS redundant. Doesn't seem right to me, unless I am missing something.
6. I've managed to answer some of my queries myself after some internal testing, however I am still a little confused with disk space/bandwidth. WHMCS technical support told me to only put the package name inside WHMCS module and it will set space on the package, this is not the case because leaving the space/bw empty assigns unlimited when WHMCS creates the account on WHM. After further testing it looks to me like Reseller Disk Space/Reseller Bandwidth on WHMCS package have no relevance at all? I done a testing by setting: WHMCS Package 'Disk Space MB' 100MB WHMCS Package 'Reseller Disk Space' 1000MB WHM Package 'Disk Quota' 100000MB I then placed an order on that package, the user was assigned 100MB Disk Space. This tells me that the value set on the package in WHM is completely ignored and then the 'Reseller Disk Space' value inside the WHMCS package cPanel module has no relevance at all? Can anyone clarify?
7. Hi, I am looking for some clarification for setting up reseller accounts. First of all the cPanel module asks for a package name... since cPanel doesn't have 'reseller packages' as such (reseller privs can be assigned to any package a user has) .. Do I just setup a small base reseller package and assign all resellers to that? Secondly, there is space for Reseller space/bw and standard package space/bw, i understand i put the reseller allocation in the correct box, do I leave the standard space/bw box empty? Does it have any relevance other than display purposes? Thanks
8. Hi, I have started offering domain names on my website through my hosting site, I am a reseller with ENOM and prices are obviously in USD $ and I am based on the UK so prices are GBP £ I am not quite sure how I should be dealing with the exchange rate? Especially with Brexit hanging over us the rate can quite easily go up and down. (more than likely down meaning it eats into my profit) Should I set my prices in stone and stick with them for a predefined period of time and absorb the exchange rate myself? Until the next 'price refresh'. Or should I be updating prices daily, weekly, monthly? I wouldn't want to confuse prices or want them to think they are being mislead by price changes, hopefully any changes will be tiny but in some cases can be more, I noticed a significant different after the Brexit result. Finally, what about existing customers? (renewals etc..) is it best practice to allow them to renew at the price they purchase, or should their pricing be adjusted to current domain prices... I could be wrong but I am pretty sure WHMCS would charge renewals at date of purchase price. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
9. Hi, I was updating my accounts and noticed some missing payments from one of my customers... All invoices are marked as paid on time, but no transactions in PayPal. I looked deeper into the invoice and can see a credit is being applied to the invoice. My customer is on the £4.99 hosting package, but used a promo code which deducted £2 for the life of the product.. so they should be billed £2.99 each month, however, a credit of £2.99 is being applied every month. Please see attached screenshot I looked into the credit setting on the customers account and it's being marked down as over payment.

03/07/2016 Credit Applied to Invoice XX £-2.99GBP

10/06/2016 Invoice #48 Overpayment £2.99GBP

Is there a way I can look into this deeper? I can't see what is causing it, where is over payment coming from? Thanks
10. I'm looking to offer some sort of virtual server/VPS services to my clients, however i'd just like to start with reseller until it is viable for me to have my own servers, i currently use my servers for shared hosting clients. DO such add ons exist that nicely integrate with the customer area so it is completely transparent? Thanks
11. I am adding domains to my hosting company but struggling to come up with a clear pricing structure. I have been studying other domain registrars and can't see nay clear patterns between different domains, multiple year discounts etc. What sort of markup % do you add on top of domains? is it a set percentage or does it vary from domain to domain? Do you offer multiple year discounts? Again, is the discount amount a set %? or set value? Above all, I understand it must remain competitive, but there has got to be some sort of standard calculation to help quickly come up with pricing? It is taking me a long time to price 100s of domains. Any assistance appreciated, thanks I am also interested to know if there are any quicker easier ways to update domain prices without going into each domain and manually adding pricing?
12. Hey, I am using ENOM Reseller for my domains and currently setting up the long list. Is there a quick easy way to find out which domains support ID protect and which domains require a EPP code for transfer. I understand I must tick the box if they are supported or required Will I need to search each domain manually to find the answer? or is there an easier way? I know most of the common domains, but the amount of domains these days it's impossible to know them all.
13. Good question:D I think I have been misunderstanding how it works. I take it the only important part of ENOM is the 'Your Cost' column under domain pricing on the ENOM site. Whatever price I set in WHMCS is the price the customer will pay, and I'll be charged what is under 'Your Cost' in Enom. Example: I could set .com at £12 GBP, ENOM will charge $9.45 which converts to £6.52, profit = £5.48
14. What is the best practice for using ENOM Reseller which is in USD, but selling as GBP? I read somewhere that currency can be updated in ENOM account but this does not appear to be the case... If I am forced to work with USD and convert it to GBP upon inserting into the WHMCS database, what is the best method? I run a script that grabs my prices from ENOM and inserts automatically so some sort of API that gives me the exchange rate each day would have been great. xe.com would have been a great example but it costs at least $799 a year which is just not feasible. Am i looking in the wrong place? What is the best solution? Thanks.
