  1. Can somebody tell exactly how domains are selected for the sync cron? The documentation at https://developers.whmcs.com/domain-registrars/domain-syncing/ states: I don't like to enable "Sync Next Due Date", due to some complications with my registrar module and the fact how we invoice our customers. But from my observation it seems that domains are only synced if they are close to their "due date", is that correct?
  2. I have another question about this topic, since it seems a bit strange to me. When registering for example .de Domains, the NS Server must feel responsible for that domain at the time of the registration. If not, the registration fails. I had some contact with my registrar module provider about this topic. They stated that I can actually use their nameservers and then the zones on these nameservers can manged from inside of WHMCS. But from my point view it seems more appropriate to use the DNS Cluster functionality of cPanel (let cPanel manage the DNS-Servers), since this seems to be much easier to manage records inside of cPanel for the customer, imho. Or maybe I just got the wrong idea? Some advice would be greatly appreciated.
  3. How does that open up for abuse, the free domains shall be limited... Anyway if it is not supported it is not a topic anyway.
  4. Is it possible to offer multiple inclusive domains with a webhosting package? So that the customer can later add some more free-included domains. For example a webhosting with 3 included domains. One can be assigned during the registration and the rest can be chosen later by the customer.
  5. Thanks for your answer. So the client has to do that manually in cPanel? Meaning that also other customers can add the domain to their hosting too, if them come first? Or does WHMCS create that domain in WHM with the customer being the owner?
  6. Is it generally possible to use a supported registrar, to order a domain, and to let that domain be managed inside cPanel? For example as an addon domain? I am bit bit confused by the whole process. How to handle addon domains in conjunction with cPanel. It seems like for almost all the scenarios you need to have the "Configurable Packages" addon?
  7. Hi there, is there a way to deactivate a new account on default after the registration? My goal is the that customer need to be verified by some shop admin. It would be also okay if the account is not able to make any orders until they get activated.
  8. I know that it works then but that causes people who don't use https at the begining (or another time) to stay on http. I set a redirect to https in apache, it does what I want. I just wanted to post this so maybe others can find this info. Or maybe they change something about the behavior of this SSL URL field.
  9. Hi there, I don't know if it is really a bug, so I am posting it here. Currently it seems to be impossible to set the "WHMCS SSL System URL" in the "General Settings" tab while having HSTS enabled. The Problem seems to be that WHMCS tries to use HTTPS only for certain sites, but HSTS forces to redirect the browser to use HTTPS (when visited the site once via HTTPS) which cause a redirect loop. Disabling HSTS solves the problem, if the users know how to remove the HSTS settings in their browser (For example chrome://net-internals/#hsts). Another solution is to remove the SSL URL in WHMCS, which is not really what I do prefer. (There was no .htaccess in place.) - - - Updated - - - As a sidenote when having "HSTS" and the "SSL URL" enabled, the areas of WHMCS which actually use SSL like 'serverstatus.php' still work since they don't redirect to HTTP.
