  1. I’ve searched through the forum but cannot figure the answer to my requirements. I want my clients to have an extra option in WHMCS at: Portal Home » Customer Area » My Domains » specfic-domains.co.uk At the moment the Domain Management options for an Enom registered domain are : Renew Domain | Contact Info | Email Forwarding | DNS Management | Register NS OK – so …. DNS Management is a fine option for the Advanced User (on template clienetareadomaindns.tpl ) This allows them to set URL Forwarding, Cloaked Forwarding A, MX, MXE, CNAME & SPF records What I really need is a separate screen aimed at the non-advanced user with a cut down list of options which just allows the User to set : URL Forwarding, Cloaked Forwarding I’d call this screen Web Forwarding. How can I create this? Do I just duplicate the clienetareadomaindns.tpl template rename it and strip out the options I don’t need? If so how would I call this template from clientareadomaindetails.tpl? Thanks Paul
  2. Hi all This is probably really simple but I can't figure it ... If I launch a domain search from our home page ( not within WHMCS ) I use the Integration Code that i can cut and past from my WHMCS admin area. <form action="http://www.hosted.com/clients/domainchecker.php" method="post"> <input type="hidden" name="token" value="whatever11551445212" /> <input type="hidden" name="direct" value="true"> Domain: <input type="text" name="domain" size="20"> <select name="ext"> <option>.com</option> <option>.net</option> <option>.org</option> <option>.biz</option> <option>.info</option> <option>.us</option> Is there any way to get this search and return results for all of those extensions even though the client can only select one extension? If the client launches a search from my /domainchecker.php page then I am using this bit of javascript from atmark. http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=24619 and that works fine. Cheers Paul
  3. Update on this: Matt reckons that .co.uk thru Tucows works fine, but we have just been offered a very good deal by Enom so that looks like its the way we are going to go. PaulZ
  4. We are evaluating WHMCS – have installed the trial version and are very impressed with it so far. Question on Payment Gateways. We are UK based and have a very good relationship with HSBC – it would be no problem for us to get a Merchant account with HSBC at a good rate. Would you guys recommend Protx as a gateway with a HSBC merchant account? Are there any limitations with this setup? I have read somewhere that re-occurring billing with Maestro / Solo is not supported via HSBC/Protx but is with other banks. Any help / experiences on this appreciated. Thanks Paul Z
  5. Wow - thanks alinford, I could have written that post as it is pretty much all the questions I have on my short list. I have a OpenSRS / Tucows account at very good pricing. To get the same deal at Enom I'd have to front about $4000. I see that WHMCS supports ENOM features pretty fully but only support the basic features on OpenSRS. I am particularly interested in using the OpenSRS premium domains name suggestion tool also. Tighter integration with OpenSRS - is this something I could pay someone to develop for me? Thanks PaulZ
  6. Hi All, We are on the process of start up and are deciding between Plesk Billing & WHMCS. We are not members of Nominet but can register .uk domains via our OpenSRS account. Can anyone confirm how the OpenSRS module in WHMCS handles .uk domain registrations - does it work Ok or do we really need to join Nominet and use the Nominet module? We were looking to avoid joining Nominet until we had enough volume of registrations to justify the set up fee. Thanks all. PaulZ
