From what I gather about it or how I am using it is for different banners so clients can choose which banner they want.

or a lil more simply cant they just doanload the banners and use there aff link with the banner..?

Yes, but by using the section of the affiliate section, you would host the banners, and give the affiliate the exact code needed to update their site.

We all know that affiliates aren't always the greatest at coding. ;)

simpler for who? lol

Try telling a customer to download a banner and use their aff link with it and watch how many support tickets you get or how many just go....eh? and forget about it.

Or, just give them a picture of the banner and say copy and paste the code below onto your web page.

Question, is there a way to setup affiliate commission settings? I see that the only option is to give the affiliates a percentage of the sale. I only want the percentage to be for month to month plans. And if someone purchases a year plan I don't want to give them a percentage, i want to give them a certain $ amount. Is there a way to change up how commission is given to affiliates?

EDIT: Nevermind, found it. Just change the individual settings in the product configurations.

Just a heads up.

If you include the text "banner" or "ad" in any image title, some browsers will not show that image since it will possibly see it as an ad.

None of my affiliate images were showing on Internet Explorer and only sometimes in different versions of Firefox.

I contacted Firefox and they told me to rename my images and directories. I renamed anything with the word banner and/or ad and it worked. Firefox says that is something new they are beginning to do to eliminate spam and annoying ads.

Just thought you should all know not to name your files or directories with those words.

See ya.

I tried your method and it shows the banners and code - that is great BUT pasting that into an html page of a simple static website does not put the banner there ?

My code i get from WHMCS :

<a href="http://www.hosting-webdesign.co.za/clients/*?aff=001"><"img src=http://www.hosting-webdesign.co.za/banners/Webhosting.jpg" width="468" height="60" border="0"></a>

I pasted that in the body of this test page :

http://www.akmining.co.za/test.html

and it only leaves a link ? Any advice please

We had the same problem, In the code for the image <"img src=http it should be <img src="http

Once you move that quote mark to the right place it works fine.

Aha ! Ninak - thanx a lot ! I did not even notice that html is wrong !

Its working now - thank you.

A Question - I would obviously like ppl to be able to paste this code pretty much anywhere. Would the same thing go into emails / Facebook / Blogs / etc etc ?

Any ideas ?
