Thanks but I have everything set up with Netcash and a bit loathe to move .... trying to see if there is a simple integration backwards from Netcash ...

I have found a script on this forum and it appears that it works but need to test myself first :

http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=34563&highlight=netcash

One negative is that the Add-On script only refers to First name of a client which makes searching for clients not that easy.

We have recently released an EPP module for .CO.ZA. Registration via the legacy system (Email Based) will soon be discontinued and replaced with EPP. You can check it at http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=21736&page=9
This is not entirely true, yes, it will be discontinued but not soon. It will still be available for a number of years to come.

They might push up the charge for using the legacy system still to force people to move on to the new EPP system.

Yes but you will have a lot more when moving to EPP, examples:

1. Domain Registrations/Transfers/Renewals/Modifications are processed in Real Time.

2. Low cost domain registrations.

3. As an accredited registrar, you are listed on their website with your logo and website url. See https://registry.net.za/

Also registrar accreditations are currently free but this may change anytime. It's recommended to get accredited as soon as possible to avoid additional fees.

I think your module is great but a little overpriced.

200 U.S. dollars = 1*533.14271 South African rands

So R50 (Current cost using legacy email system) - the EPP cost R35 Means one = save R15 per domain.

However at R1533 for the module, it would take 102 domain purchases until the module is an asset.

Just my 2c. Any ideas if WHMCS will ever design an integrated EPP module? (Perhaps buy the rights from Benoit :P:P)

EPP modules are complex and are nothing comparable to other WHMCS modules. Also not all EPP registries are the same, a lot of adjustments need to be done to make it work therefore our price justify it.

Our coza epp module is already powering up 8 accredited registrars and more to come.

Also we recently released an accreditation pass script and a legacy domain transfer script that will automatically transfer all your client domain names from uniform legacy registrar.

Hi Benoit,

I want to apply for .co.za domain registrar at: http://regstry.net.za/ For that i need to connect to their EPP system of the registry and pass the accreditation tests.

As given on the ZA Registry's FAQ, they have recommended to buy an EPP Solution or code it by self:

http://registry.net.za/content.php?gen=1&contentid=107&title=Frequently%20Asked%20Questions

I found your website while searching for EPP module for whmcs on the internet at:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?13904-Coza-Registrar-co-za-tld/page5

https://my.fodytechnologies.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=159&currency=2

I have some queries regarding this:

----------------------------------------------

How much time will this take for me to pass these accreditation test and become an accredited .za registrar.

What are requirements for .za accreditation? Can you help me successfully pass their requirements and tests.

As i have read on .za registry website and your forum posts.

I will have to pay 2500 Rands to ZA registry (non-refundable)

And i get access to their OT&E server for accreditation tests and get 3 months to pass these tests otherwise they will forfeit the whole amount.

Can your whmcs module help me pass these tests and successfully implement the EPP system with the registry.

In case i am unable to pass these tests. Will you refund the whole amount that i will pay for your module.

Can you explain the whole process to me as i am interested in becoming an accredited registrar and interested to buy your whmcs module for that.

Do you still have any promotional discount on the module like your previous offer Promo Code: COZAREGISTRAR (that Expired on 30/04/2012) in which you offered 25% discount.

Kindly reply back as soon as possible.

Best Regards,

Hargurnaz Singh
