Hi guys,

so this post may come across as completely newb, but in order to learn this monster, i need to go there ...lol

the issue;

so for the most i can edit and change most of the ordering pages, and most of the cart pages which is cool and im getting my head around the way that the code has been put down..

however,

for the life of me i cannot understand how to edit the last few selections within the ordering menu (pictures included)

the first picture shows my customizations, the red circle i have added highlights the links im having a hard time with.. when you click on them the whole layout changes ... not cool,

maybe im missing basic stuff here but i cant seem to find the pages / code? to change..

this image below shows how the ordering pages change after you click the last few links in the menu system above.. by default without mods it seems be broken into sperate themes, i kind of understand some are within the base of the chosen theme and some are in the orderingforms/yourcustomcart theme.

how do i get to these pages / code ? its not like i can get to the actual cart.php Or cart.tpl file ... what am i missing here ???

eg:

/cart.php?a=add&domain=register

/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer

/cart.php?a=view

i have looked within the code for post to SELF kind of deal but even then i couldnt find how to access these last few bits ..

can anyone please at least point me towards something thats going to clarify how this is layed out..

ps: yes i also read through the docs, great info just doesnt go into any detail for what im looking for..

thank you for your time

Hi Cain,

Register and Transfer will use the default order form template defined in setup -> general settings -> ordering

so if you have a custom order form template being used for other product groups, you can assign it as the default template and register/transfer should use it.

an explanation on the templates can be found below...

http://docs.whmcs.com/Order_Form_Templates

  • products.tpl - Lists product categories and products
  • adddomain.tpl - First step for domain registration only orders
  • ordersummary.tpl - Used to display cart contents and product total summaries during order process
  • viewcart.tpl - Showing cart contents & checkout process

btw - the monster can be tamed... just be aware that it bites back occasionally! :)

omfg ... im almost too embarrased to post my findings .. lol

lets just say i have found the problem and it was nothing to do with the monster ... the problem was entirely to do with the "meatware" .........

wow, i cant believe it was that simple ..

thank you for your time and overly polite direction towards the actual issue brian heh
