    Default Calculate Fee's

    Hey Matt,
From what I see, PayPal gateway is the only one that records the fees involved in a transaction. You mentioned that this was possible becasue PayPal records the fees in their callback.

My idea is that there would be a section for the gateway that we could fill in what fee's are required on that particular gateway, then WHMCS could do the math to figure out what the fee should be. For example, 2CO charge .45 for each transaction + 5.5%. We could enter in this info, and WHMCS could calculate it up for each 2CO transaction that was done.

    What ya think?

I would love to see this feature, it will make the "Transactions" section of WHMCS much more accurate.

    Matt,

Just wondering if you considered this? I currently add my 2CO transaction fees in manually, and I think this would be done quite easily.

    Thanks.

Ok great. I noticed a small error when I tested it myself - 2CO when multiplying by 5.5% always rounds down, so say for example it comes to 0.798 they take it as 0.79 and not 0.80 as a normal number rounding would do. I've corrected this and will be distributing it with 2.5.8.

Does this only apply to 2CO or can we specify rates for other payment gateways (like bluepay or authorize) and have them calculated also?

Did you get round to adding this to 2.5.8? I'm currently running 2.5.8 and 2CheckOut fee's are not being recorded in Transactions.

also, how can we do this with domains as well? These inputs are important if the Reports are really going to be useful to us.

Ok, one more. I looked at the "add products" "other" area and figured we could setup what the actual cost of ours was, but unless im missing something, the cost is actually what the client pays. wouldnt that more be called Price? Cost would be what the product cost us. How else are we supposed to determine profit. I see all these reports that say amount in and amount out, but i dont see where can do all these configurations for Amount Out.
