WHMCS Support email sending Support Ticket Not Opened emails

Hello, I am currently using one email address with WHMCS (support@mydomain.com) which I have hosted through google apps. I used the email piping guide from here and I have tested the support system with a test client account and everything is working correctly. However, whenever I get an email to that address, say from a friend or facebook and ext. my email automatically sends this:

 

"Your email to our support system could not be accepted because it was not recognized as coming from an email address belonging to one of our customers. If you need assistance, please email from the address you registered with us that you use to login to our client area."

 

I tried resolving this issue by selecting "Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on" within the Google Settings Panel.

 

Other than that I am not sure what to change.
