Default Client cant access their url

So i have a client and i have registered a domain for them which i can access now they cant and havent been able to for days so i had them check they could reach the server by using http://ip/~username/ that was fine so the server is online for them i have also had them clear their dns but no matter what steps i can think of they just cant get on http://sitename.com does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

managed to determine it must be there internet as when using wifi they couldn't access it but when using 3g the site comes up
have also tried several browsers and devices

safari simply gives the error that the dns could not be found

are you aware that once your regsiter a domain it can take upto 72 hours for the DNS to propagate, so you may not be able to access the site using http://sitename.com but will be able to access the site using http://ip/~username/.

we have in our welcome email that if they have just registered the domain use the IP to ftp files etc to the site for at least 24 hrs ( propagation will using only take 24 hrs, but sometimes can take a full 72 hours.)

have been speaking in pm with user, think dns is duffed as cant ping the nameservers either... I would have thought dns would have gone through by now as 3 days ago was the post.

yup if still no joy after 3 days then looks like duffed DNS.

sometimes its just a simple task of terminating the account on the server and then setting back up again, as we have had DNS issues fixed this way, but if the NS cant be pinged then it could be them not set correctly at registrar or the host has not a clue how to set these correct on the server.

The nameservers are setup correctly as we have quite a few clients using those name server
and yes im aware that it takes 72 hours for the domain to propagate

ill try your suggestion easyhosting of remaking the account on the server
