Volume Discount

Posted a similar request back in 2008 (WOW can't believe it's been that long)

I'd like to see a volume discount feature where I could reward people with more products by lowering their prices.

i.e.: from 1-9 products regular pricing, 10-19 gets $$ or %% off, 20-... gets more savings

I would also like it setup so discounts can be implemented in 2 ways: the discount is applicable on new orders or the discount is applicable on every products the client have

i.e.: 1-9 customer pays 10$ per product the 10th product is discounted to 7$ but the 1-9 remain at 10$ if you prefer:9x10 + 1x7. The 2nd approach would be : 1-9 customer pays 10$ per product the 10th product he buys gives him a discounted price for all items of $0.50 or 10x9.50

I'm asking this because I am getting more and more web developpers that want their site hosted with me, and it is a good incentive to offer volume based discounts.

You could try this:

It will only accept percentage however and you would have to manually set them.

I could use the client groups providing a fixed amount could be set, it would be a workaround but not nearly as nice as a real volume discount where the discount is calculated on the number of accounts the client has, I could move them from 1 group to the next when they reach a certain number.

I don't see myself tweaking the percentages every time there's a price change on top of it though.

Hello,

I have created client discount addon for our needs.
It's based on client income in last 2 years and client groups.

Every day client group is automatically updated at whmcs cron.

Currently I'm updating this addon, so it will be available for install on other WHMCS.
