    Default Support Tickets Auto Refresh

    Hello,

I would like to see a Auto Refresh on tickets per reply.

If I was viewing a Ticket and say a member of my team replies to the ticket. I can see that they have and what they replied. Then I know that I don't need to post a reply unless I can add to it.

What happens if you're typing a reply and the page auto-refreshes? All that gets lost.

The only way this would work is if the replies were loaded with ajax, which would require a major rework of how that entire section works in WHMCS.

This is a slight flaw in WHMCS and I don't see how this can be resolved

My provider obviously has three or more support staff
Two of them ended up replying at the same time and I received two different responses within 2 minutes, showing neither was aware the other was already replying

For what its worth, you could probably write an addon module that uses node.js to push notifications to connected admins. Perhaps something that either disables the reply box, or maybe just a note on the top when someone starts to reply. This wouldnt be too terribly difficult to do.

Maybe an idea for another addon

What I have noted is that if I am writing a reply and the browser fails (for whatever reason) when I return there is a large red X and message "[admin username] entering reply [date and time]"
I can't find any way to remove this message (within WHMCS admin area)
