    Question Do You Like It?

So we have used basecamp (expensive if yo uhave tons of projects), ManyMoon (great, but no tie to CRM or customers data), and we are now using Solve 360 (great but complicated for new employees and ugly) because it is a robust sales crm and project/task management tool.

I want to know how this software stacks up. Is it good? Do you like it? I want some honest feedback from people using it, especially for webdesign projects with a team.

What should I know before switching? What might I miss? What will I gain by using a tool tied to WHMCS?

Thanks in advance to any community members that take time to answer!

    Jason

Primary web design. We do hosting, name registration, SSL, support tickets, etc for our existing clients and whmcs has been great for everything, except project management for remote teams and sales crm.

We switched from Basecamp and, although v1.0 was missing some important task management features, they have been added in v1.1 (mostly re-ordering and notes).

Overall, the integration with clients and support tickets is considerably more important to me than some of the bells and whistles of Basecamp. It's also considerably cheaper!

But then, my primary use for Basecamp was managing up-to-date and accurate task lists within each project. I wound up not making much use of the other features, so if you're a heavy user of the rest of Basecamp's features, it's possible you'd be missing something in the switch.

I should also mention that our project teams are small enough that we don't restrict access to certain areas, so any kind of permissions management is irrelevant to us. If you require this, I cannot speak for how effective it is in WHMCS as I haven't used it.
