- color coding on project list page should be changed so that completed Day's left are gray or black. leaving them red seems like they're overdue or still need to be done
- project management module on home page has "my assigned" and "due projects", but there's nothing for "my due". this means you always have to weed thru other people's jobs to see which ones are yours
- when you click on "bill for task time entries" the rate and time boxes could be 1/3 the size they are now (and still fit their info). This would leave more room to read the description.
- anything I paste into the staff message board (from a notepad) gets double the line breaks when I hit submit. I would rather do my own formatting.
As several others have suggested I'd really like to see due dates assigned to each task. And then I would like to be able to pull up a task list for myself (with the option to see everybodys tasks, but it's more important to be able to see my list). The task list would be similar to the project list except I could see what needed to get done that day. If I've got a month long project that I need to finish part of by friday, the project list doesn't really show me that right now. I can change the due date for the project to friday, but then if my part is due by friday and another guys part is due by Wednesday next week, there's no way to track that.
Also, I need a report where I can query projects by: date range, project status - and then generate billable items for each client. It would be nice to have a review screen before the invoices were generated. I think you could just add a button on to the Project Management Summary page (reports.php?report=project_summary)
If I need to bill 30 to 50 clients, for a several hundred "projects" once a month. I don't want to have to click so many times to create the invoices. I would like to be able to pull up a list of projects that were completed that month and invoice them. I would also like to be able to set on a per task basis if the job is a free or paid job (maybe via checkbox). Then when I pull the report, it will only select the billable items and create one invoice per client, with the list of tasks and time (like your current button on the project screen does).
