    Unhappy Multiple email addresses

    Hello,

Need to specify a primary and secondary email for a single client. I have several clients who ask me to specify 2 email addresses so they get notifications on both of the emails but there is no such provision i WHMCS.

I even tried to put emails seperating them with commas but nothing.

Please put multiple email address feature soon.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Setup up a sub-account from the customers details page "add contact" and activate the mails for the sub-account

    Hi,

I know that but it is very lengthy procedure. I just need to be able to specify at least 2 emails.

Though, incase I do that, do i have to activate the sub account also ???

    Thanks.

No. All you need to do is add the email address, and tick which emails you want the contact to receive.

Don't even need to add a contact name.

    Hi,

I am wondering if there has been any further inclusion of this in later releases of WHMCS? Doing it this way creates a manual process an I would like it if clients were given the option to enter 2 emails on setup.

It is important to us that clients have 2 emails in case something happens to the server in which their email is actually held, we can still contact them!

    thanks in advance

    Hi,

Unfortunately they don't do requests like these. Instead of adding these simple and tiny features to make life easier of an admin, they give lame excuses / reasons which makes really no sense to me.

    Thanks.

Or the other possible reason is that the "feature" you requested is pointless and has no demand....

You missed the point. If the feature you requested was in demand then users would have piled in here and voted for it. That hasn't happened so rightly so it hasn't been included. Supply and demand...

Have you considered trying this method to get what you want from them?

There's nothing about supply and demand here...
Its all about: Software is made for humans, humans are not made for software!

Also lets do a poll about this feature...

No lets not. As the thread has shown, it's a pointless feature request otherwise more people would want it. Why should WHMCS waste time adding features for the minority instead of working on issues for the majority?

Or, and this is a much better idea, if you need this doing so desperately just pop over to the commercial part of the forum and pay someone to do it for you.

You're not getting me, the software must be meeting all your demands thats why its fine for you. But its not for me, hence its not a complete software. Also I am not asking for a very big radical change ... I know you guys will not do so its a end of discussion from my side, i am just wasting my time.

So pay someone to do it for you then.....
