Admin tagging of clients

Hi,

I would like to request a feature where we can add cutomised taggings like "web" or "WH" for webhosting clients and different taggings for different clients. As I use WHMCS for more than webhosting clients, such a feature will allow me to sort my clients or to see how many clients of each category of products I have.

Btw, the tagging will not be seen or editable by clients.

Why not just have different product groups and sort by that? I think the tag idea is dumb. If anything, you can just make a custom field that is only editable by admins, then identify them that way. Anyway you do it, you can create custom reports for this info.

i was thinking of "seeing the big picture" kind of view when i click on 'View/Search Client", instead of clicking on individual items like hosting, reseller, products/services view.

you can create a report that does that as well. Your request is just a little to specific to your needs versus something that would logically help out the majority. Just my opinion.

Yes, honestly, it is specific to my needs but I was thinking there might be other pple out there using WHMCS that would like the same thing as me too.
