Weekly Billing

I'm finding it impossible to bill clients weekly and have it done automatically. My clients are receiving a new invoice just two days after they pay on the due date of their previous invoice. My invoice generation settings is set to 7 days, which is perfect for clients on monthly billing.

I really need weekly billing to be supported fully. I don't like my clients receiving a new invoice notice via email all the time. I need to be able to set different automation/invoice generation settings for clients who are on a weekly billing option.

Just to point out that Weekly Billing is already possible by using the "Billable Items" feature, however there is no way to give different invoice generation settings for clients on a weekly payment option. Just wanted to make it clear before anyone says "Weekly Billing" is already available.

Ugh!. I knew someone would come along and say it's already available. You misunderstood me.

I know the Invoice Generation is already available under Automation settings, but what it does not provide is to set custom invoice generation settings for specific billing types, such as weekly billing. I currently have all invoices set to be generated automatically 7 days before the due date. This is not good for a client that is paying for a service each week.

So what we need is to be able to set invoice generation dates for billing types "other" than Monthly, Yearly etc.

And I setup the invoices to be sent 30 days in advance. Most of my customers pay annually so that isn't really a problem, but with the customers that pay monthly I experience this problem. They are always "due". I would like to have my annually paying customers informed about due date 30 days in advance, but for customers that pay monthly to generate their invoice 7 days in advance.

Yeah! Knew I wasn't alone on this one. Apparently this isn't going to be in the pipeline for the next version, which is typical coming from Matt. His responses never shows a positive light to a situation to me. Oh well, guess I'll just have to let my clients get spammed by my whmcs until there's a fix for this. Meh.

Making a feature request here doesn't guarantee that feature will be included immediately in our next release. But they are certainly all considered and may be implemented in a future version.

I'd describe it more of a non-committal answer rather than a negative one.

I agree a week needs available under under products, not just billable items. It is not useful to make a week invoice that I have to manually create and suspend the service.

Yeah, whmcs really needs this. Shame Matt won't do this for next version.

Daily and Weekly billing would be *very* handy - at present we have to "fake" it with constant rewriting of the due dates

More thumbs up for this thread please guys! - Then hopefully it'll get Matt to work on this more quickly. He knows this is very needed and much annoyance to many, but he's just being lazy!
