Plesk 10 Module

It seems that Parallels will publishing new plesk ,and i am trying the new plesk,find that many different from plesk 9 or previous version.

in Plesk 10,there is no customer template module,but only plan template or reseller template.

So when will whmcs publish new plesk module ?

using the new XML-RPC API for Plesk 10 is not important. the "old" module uses on request packets the version number for "old" plesk xml-rpc api version. so it will be compatible. except of any new functions of the plesk 10.

I upgraded and its running smoother than plesk 9..the upgrade process was flawless specially with their new software/package management program

So WHMCS 4.3.1 is compatible with Plesk Panel 10? Are you able to create, terminate, suspend, unsuspend accounts? Also, what OS did you perform the update in? Windows or Linux?

again, the version of Plesk is not important. The whmcs-pleskmodule uses a specific version of the plesk api.

for example i can request to Plesk 10 and force it to use an older api protocoll version. so plesk 10 uses your "old" request with its own "old" protocoll.

When I updated 2 of my vps, alle the domains display the default Plesk site. Are there more with the same problem and how do I fix it?

We had some issues with Upgrading to plesk 10, and actually solved it by reinstalling and migrating the accounts.
The issues was with PHP/permissions and webmail missing.
It sucks with down time.

After the install we have had issues with the default apache settings and email forwarding.

But anyway, does anyone have an update on how to use WHMCS with plesk 10 as it does not seem to work with the old xml-rpc version.

As I know ,plesk 10 is not upgrade from plesk 9 as general ,but it is more like small business panel product of parallels.

even you are using old api version ,you will still getting more error when you are using whmcs +plesk 10.

Hello,

Like the above case, I have a new Plesk 10 installation. I added the server to me server group. I created the domain template in Plesk however, there is no client template concept in Plesk 10.

When I try to use WHMCS to create a hosting product (whic works fine on Plesk 9.5), I too get the template not found error ?

So, what exactly is the fix for this ?

WHMCS has not Plesk 10 support yet.

Hi Guys,

The problem is simple - believe it or not, Plesk still hasn't put out any documentation for the new API yet and their official line over on their forums has been:

API RPC documentation for Plesk 10 will be published on Parallels site approximately in 3 weeks (Nov 8th). You can use partially docs from 9.5 - old API protocol works where it is possible.

As we all know only too well, and as you have been finding, Plesk's API from a previous version rarely works properly on later releases so hopefully they'll have docs for us soon, and as soon as they do, then we'll look at getting it implemented for those of you waiting for it.
