Default Domain expiration notification to customers

If a domain renewal has failed, there should be notifications sent to the customers notifying them that their domain renewal has failed for whatever reason, and they should contact the host immediately to resolve the matter.

As well as post a note on the to-do list for the admin.

Disagree. If the customer has paid for the renewal, and it fails, you get notified. Then its up to you to resolve the matter.

Yeah but if the customer paid for the renewal past the expiration date, there is no notification and it doesn't renew the domain either. So the customer is unaware and the host is unaware...

You'll get a domain renewal failure notification.

So far I've only gotten failure notification if the registrar balance falls too low, not for expired domains. Didn't know I should be.
