[Solved] Trying to add domain manually :(

I am a ClientExec refugee and I used the import script, which worked great, except it did not import any domains.

 

So I am attempting to add them manually (only 23)

 

These are my steps.

 

1. ADD NEW ORDER (Domain registration only)

2. Register a New Domain

3. Fill in appropriate fields (Registration Period, NS, Payment Method)

 

[send Order Confirmation to Client when Completing Order] (NOT CHECKED)

 

4. Update Order (clicked)

5. Complete Oder (clicked)

 

Now the client is sent an Invoice for the domain registration with today's due date.

 

So the problem, for me at least, is that the [send Order Confirmation to Client when Completing Order] option is not doing it's job.

 

Anyone else have this problem?

 

Any suggestions?

That's because you've chosen invoices as the payment option. The order confirmation is a completely seperate email.

 

e.g. For Paypal, instead of using Paypal Invoices, use Paypal subscriptions (does not send email) and then change the payment option to paypal invoices and change the date when you go to the product page for that client. That shouldn't send any emails out.
