just curious, "bear" are you also the mod of WHT?

Since I cant PM yet I thought I would post this in the lounge.

I have noticed user "bear" is a mod and have seen "bear" as a mod on several forum sites. Is this the same "bear" such as the one on Webhostingtalk.com ?

If you are the "bear" who is a mod on many forum sites - I'm very interested how you have come to the point where you have many "mod" positions.

I'm new to the online forum thing so I'm very interested regarding this.

Yes, that's me (far from famous, though). As for how I got there, on WHT a few years ago there was a call for people interested in the job (volunteer position, no pay) and I applied. Essentially the same on a few of the other boards I help out at. Just giving back something to the communities that I learned from.

Same time I added those mods to stop all the spam which seem to be working great!
