Default New Domain Status: "Transferred Away"

I request a new domain status. Currently WHMCS has:

    Pending
    Pending Transfer
    Active
    Expired
    Cancelled
    Fraud

The one I am requesting is "Transferred Away". This should be minor programming effort but could make a big difference in the life of an ISP where you have to deal with churn.

Yes this is really needed, and maybe one step further, on the Clients side, if a domain is transfered away, the actual domain will be grayed out.

Great request! Vote for us. I also like the "greyed out" concept also.

Why would you want to keep domains in your system that have been transferred away?

set them to cancelled and you already have this option

    for statistical reporting
because your registry/registrar agreement requires you to
because clients come back or contact you 3 years later forgetting
as deleting them buggers the stats up
    etc

I know this is an old thread, but it came up for me while searching. It looks like the status was never added, so I'm wondering: if I set a domain status to cancelled, will it automatically stop the billing for that domain also?

Also, how do you guys track transfers out? Enom doesn't seem to notify me about domains that are transferred out. The only way I know it might be coming is when someone requests an EPP code.

    Yes it will.

If you receive the email from the Enom sync script, check the domains that say "Error" - they're the ones that have been transferred out.
