Add a new announcement

When we add a new announcement is it possible to add the announcement introduction and the full announcement separetly in such a way when user see the announcement page see the introduction and click a more link to see the full announcement

this could kind of be done like the KBs using smarty truncation. It would be exactly what you want, but it would at least show sample text on the frontpage, then you could link to the full article. You would need some smarty/php knowledge to pull this off though.
