If you are not a New Zealand registered registrar then they blacklist your IP address when you have exceeded nx domain name checks. I have signed up to a NZ registrar to ease the pain, however when my customers search for a domain name on my website NZRS takes note of the API being used for this WHOIS request and sees it as the WHMCS API.
