  1. Simon, I wasn't trying to upset you man, I was just saying that the code you posted did work for me in V4, nothing more, nothing less.. I do appreciate your help! -Robert
  2. Good point as I used it for our V4 installation, so it definitely works on that version. -Robert
  3. I just tried it out and it seems to work great! Nice work! -Robert
  4. Was there any update to this? We changed our WHMCS install url and now subscription payments aren't properly posted. Any help? -Robert
  5. Simon, Thank you very much, that gave me all the information I needed. -Robert
  6. All, I am working on some custom pages and have the templates and php files working together, however I need to gather some information from the database to display to the client. In the php file per the example I have included the dbconnect.php, functions.php, and clientareafunctions.php files, but I am not able to find the documentation that shows what functions are those files provide, specifically database calls. Can someone point me to some documentation or provide some examples? Thanks! -Robert
  7. Hmm.. I'll have to take a look at the docs for the action hook.. That might be a great solution for us that don't have an owned Kayako license.. -Robert
  8. Yeah, I have been working on this some and I don't have a problem scanning through the WHMCS database looking for new users, then using the API to get their password and injecting that into the Kayako database. I intentionally left the "userpasswordtxt" field blank on the Kayako side as it doesn't seem right to have that information in clear text. The other plus to this is that users can't change their password in Kayako since it apparently uses the clear text version to compare the passwords when you change them. ;-) What I am working through now is the email address issue and I am still running through scenarios in my head of how to best make it work. -Robert
  9. All, I know that you can integrate WHMCS and Kayako, but for my purposes I would like to keep them isolated due to the fact they will run on separate machines. It seems that the loginshare feature that Kayako has just pulls the email address, name and password from the source database. Am I oversimplifying this? If this is correct has someone already done what I am speaking of? At first glance it doesn't seem very difficult, but I must be missing something. I look forward to hearing from you guys... -Robert
